So I am confused - somtimes I have scanned things that are less than the red sticker price. And sometimes I have scanned things that scan regular price but have a clearance sticker on them?!?!? I don't get it! If they don't want all that hassle why doesn't Target mark the correct prices with the barcode?

Let me know if you don't find one by the 16th of January - I can send mine to Knoxville w/my sister then if you are interested!

I started last year and it was AWESOME! Anyway, as you may have seen some toys are marked 15%, 30% and 50% - they will go down all the way to 90% if any are left. They typically do mark downs weekly - going from 15% to 30% to 50% to 75% then to 90% - but as we have seen with Christmas we don't know for sure when it will happen. YOu just have to keep a watch! Watch to see if they are resetting toys - moving all Clearance toys together - or if you see alot of employees working. I don't totally trust calling to see if they marked down..... I am sure others have some input, ideas or please correct me if I am wrong! TKS!

Okay shall we begin the Toy Clearance Countdown????? Please post as soon as you see the Toy section going down! - I think it may go down some this week.......

Hit Target again this morning- Bob the Builder Holiday set - in with regular toys for $1.45 - it has a xmas tree in it so asked if it were xmas? she didn't hesitate and took 90% off Men's Grinch xmas pjs in the mens section $1.99 Scapbook Chipboard ornaments $.99 ACTUALLY none of these rang up 90% off but since they had xmas stuff on them she took off 90%

Collierville, TN Target on 90% Christmas this morning - not much to choose from! Did get some Dora and Deigo mini ornaments 4 vinyl placemats 1 gold table runner 2 car wash gift boxes and my find of the day................................ Thomas the Train Gift Set w/wooden storage box - rang up clearance price of $27 but she took 90% off after I asked if it were not clearance - so $2.?? for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sooooo do you think they will do any TOY mark downs over the weekend?

My Target toys are marked 15%, 30% and some (very few) 50% - My find of the day in toys was the Fisher-Price Twin Baby Doll Nursery Set w/dolls that was sold on Black Friday for $30.00 - got it for $7.48!!!! It had been moved to the 1st endcap - a saleslady said they had sold a ton of those this morning - I was there at 10:00 and there was only 1 left (and the box was all broken)!

What area of Memphis are you in? I am in Collierville - still not 90% here....

Just curious....how early do employees show up to do price adjustments? Also, do they do markdowns after the store closes at night????

WEnt to Target here in Tennessee - no change...xmas still 75% and toys were not marked down anymore today - HOWEVER a ton of workers were "resetting" toys - SO ANYONE KNOW how long after resetting that they do more markdowns???? Did score 6 of the holiday ballerina Barbies for $1.24 each!

I bought 4 of the Littlest Pet Shop Advent calendars for $1.74 EACH!!!!!!!!! Cashier rang them up at the $6.?? price and I said - oh aren't those a Christmas item - I mean when else would you use an Advent calendar - so he took 75% off of the $6.?? price!!!

Good luck! they had a ton at my store.....and had even moved some over to the other side of baskets...close to vacumes and sewing machines...ask someone if you don't see any - let us know if you find it!
