  1. Is it now 30% for everyone or just card members?
  2. Gosh I need to start looking at the dates of these threads. I knew that the sale was about to start. I saw the thread and read the 1st couple posts. I then headed to the local Dillards to find that today is 30% off only for card members. Found a couple things to pick up tomorrow though. :-)
  3. Just make sure to pay it off before the 3 years is up. Best Buys financing is great, but they do have the exclusion that if the balance is not payed off in the 3 years any interest that would have occured will occur. Sometimes that can end up being hundreds of dollars. ~ David
  4. The Wii comes with composite cables(yellow/white/red) to hook up to a tv. You can purchase component(blue/red/green) cables seperatly. The Wii does not have an option to hookup via HDMI. ~ David
  5. Many Best Buys will price match online prices. Especially if its a big site like Amazon, Buy, or NewEgg.
  6. I used to work at Best Buy. At one point we watched a video about how our private label brands are made. I don't know if insignia was one of the brands they went over, but they were made by Best Buy themselves not outside companies. That said I have always heard that the actual LCD panel are only made by a couple of compainies(maybe LG and Samsung). All the other manufacturers do is put them together. When I had read that one point the article mentioned is the companies normally kept the best displays for themselves. If Sony is making Insignia TVs that is probobly also the case.
  7. I think that is the best BF ad. No waiting in line. No certain items(altho I assume there were restrictions). It is still 95% compared to the 5% at most stores.
  8. I see some orange flashing lights on the main page – what do they mean? No, you aren't seeing a side effect from your allergy medication. You have found a Woot-Off, a short term frenzied mutation of our product posting procedure. In Woot-Off mode, a new product is launched immediately after the sellout of the previous deal. There is a half-Woot-life of 12 hours maximum on any product within a Woot-Off that does not sell out. The number of Woot-Off items, sequence, and quantity will not be announced. When Woot-Off mode is over, the orange lights will disappear and our normal schedule will resume. Depending on its success, this may be a mode we would go into once or twice a month for a relatively short duration of time (24-72 hours generally.) http://www.woot.com/WhatIsWoot.aspx#q9
  9. Part of that blame should go to KB. I used to work for BBY. We kept all of the BF sale items(atleast the minimum amount listed on the ad) in the back where they could not be sold early. This was a corperate policy. KB should have a similar one.
  10. Most of the digital frames have 32MB-128MB of internal memory. If you scale the picture down to the same resolution of the frame it will fit hundreds of pictures on internal memory.
  11. Best Buy had a good deal a couple years ago. At 5PM they gave a $5 or $10 giftcard for every $50 spent. It was good becuase it was valid on any purchases even price fixed items(EG IPOD/Game consoles). They did not have it last year though and I do not see it in this years ad. ~ David
