I've been to the one in Anaheim, CA (big warehouse) about 10 different times and the one in Culver City, CA once (smaller venue - more like a medium sized store with warehouse shelving). FYI: These sales are books from the "Scholastic Book Fairs" not the fliers that come home with the kids. Many of the books are the same or similar but they're not the same division of scholastic. I've always found the sales more than worth my time and the drive. I have always had use for my $10 off $50 coupon and then some (I rarely get out of there under $100 - we really like books in this house and they also make great gifts). There is always a bargain area, another area where things are at set prices (50 cents, $1, $2, etc) and then the rest of the warehouse is just shelves and the books are 50% off the price listed on the cover. It's a great deal!

Rite Aid has a coupon in their next ad for a $30 gift card with a transferred prescription. They also have this offer online at http://www.riteaid.com/pharmacy/prescription_transfer.jsf If you print this coupon, other stores might accept it for new prescriptions. My CVS has. I've used this coupon twice actually - once for my son's antibiotics and once for myself for my diabetes test strips. Both were new prescriptions and they didn't say a word.

I will keep my eyes out - is there a particular store you are used to buying this at? (Says the girl who always wears Mac - should I admit that on here? )

I don't care for this practice either. The purpose of it is (supposedly) to keep the price off the search engines. If the price isn't listed except in the card the search engine can't 'spider' down and find it. I still say it's annoying but it doesn't make me any more likely to buy something. I am perfectly happy to click the delete button or "update" the quantity back to 0.

We too have rechargeable batteries and a couple of charging stations for them and we just have extra batteries so we can exchange them for fresh ones and charge up the other ones. They work great! We use the same batteries in our old Nintendo controllers (Wavebirds) and wonder why in the world we wasted all those batteries for years and years while we had our game cube. (We still have it actually but it's rarely used these days now that it's in the kids room).
