I think the Leap Pad has more of the "feel" for an iPad and since I want my DD to play with her tablet and not mine, I'm going with the Leap Pad. I've heard lots of good things about the iXL.

I've looked back over the archives, but didn't see anything, so I thought I would ask, does anyone ever get an ad or list from the Disney Store for Black Friday? I was at the mall for another store at midnight last year so I was able to get the good deals they had, but would have made it a priority if I had known ahead of time. Has anyone gotten their ad early and I just missed it?

I know my 2 year old wants the Leap Pad Tablet and she likes the Fijits. I am hoping the Leap Pad goes on sale, as $99 is a little hard to stomach right now.

I would love a t shirt, hoodie, or shopping bags. I live in a state/county that has done away with plastic shopping bags- Did I mention that I love gotta deal and that i can't wait for BF every year!!!

I usually take snacks with me and then go to breakfast/lunch around 11:00. Otherwise it is diet coke and a snickers for me. LOL. I am so ready to start planning my shopping trip this year. I'll have to be more careful in the crowds (I'll be 8 months pregnant) but I'll be there.

Of the ones you have listed I would go with the set from JC Penny's. I travel quite often for business and I can tell you there is nothing better than a good set of luggage. It makes traveling so much easier and less stressful. The absolute best set I have found is from Samsonite. It is more expensive but the quality is exceptional. However if you just buy one or two pieces (if he only uses one or two for each trip) it will last a lifetime. Also Amazon and Macy's frequently have 50% off deals on this particular set. The set I have is the Samsonite Silhouette 11 Spinner.

My daughter is only 17 months and I have been thinking about this as well. I wanted to try and find ways in our community to give back. This year we were at the Disney Store, and I told her that we were going to buy toys for other children who needed them. At 17 months she picked up two dolls, (I let her pick them out) and she "paid" for them (handed the clerk my credit card) and took them over to the toys for tots box and dropped them in and then said, I U (her way of saying I love you). It made me cry. I think it is so important to teach our children to give back. I have no idea if she really got anything out of it, but I'll always have this memory. Just wanted to share.

I was in my WalMart yesterday and they have tons of the door buster stuff left, but it is all at regular price. Our store screwed up and didn't have the stuff out until about 8am on Friday morning, so most people got fed up and left (I did) I had other stores I had to go to. THey only had two cashiers until about 9am too. I was FURIOUS! Sorry to vent ~ I asked a manager if they were going to lower the prices on the door buster stuff so they could sell it and he said no it was all regular price. Sounds like a bad business move to me, but hey I'm not WalMart.

If you have a smart phone send it to your self in an email that you can open while at the store and they should be able to give you the discount that way.
