Why are some toys 50% off at one store and full price at another? I am finding different prices at different stores...

Baby Gear is now 50% off...I purchased a Britax Roundabout for $77xx....Not much left so I didnt want to wait for 70%. Last year toys went to 75% on July 28...Does anyone think it will be about the same this year? Thats still 2 weeks away...If so there are a few things I will buy now at 50%.

Just a note..Target has a 15% off apparel coupon on their wesbite. It is good for any kids apparel item and I have been using it on all the kids clothes marked 70% off.

All 3 of my stores have toys at 30% and 50%. Not sure what the reasoning is...Most of the toys are still on their isles and Target has not started to purge them to one isle yet.

Unfortunately, there isn't many clearance finds to post anymore. Lets hope the big 70% toy clearance brings everyone out.

Please post when you see the baby gear go 50%. I checked 3 stores in Riverside County today..All still 30%. Thanks on the jeans was able to get 3 pair and used the 15% off childrens apparel coupon from the Target website. I paid $6xx for 3 pairs of Jeans girls size 10.

You are correct. It starts in those months...But the best deals are best when it goes 75% off. I was pregnant last year. I remember going in late July and scoring this crib for $50. Also picked up the Chico travel system in orange/gray for $75xx...So try and wait until at least 50% to make it worth it. Do you know why this is? I find very little marked down at any of my Targets anymore. Is it just because its at the beginning of the season?

If you're looking for childrens books check the endcap in Electronics of all places...Found tons of books marked at 70% off...

Funny you should ask this question today..As I went shopping with my neice today and she found her prom dress at Davids Bridal on the clearance rack. It was marked down to $68 from $359. She is going to have it dry cleaned as it had some wrinkles but otherwise its a beautiful dress....

I agree with everything boredbread said..Only to add when choosing a cashier to check out with...I usually try and find a young kid. They are more likely just to push your coupons through and not analyze everything. I usually shop at the same time whenever I go and the same young 20 something kid is always working at that time..I always pick his line and he just pushes all my coupons through..Even if they beep.

I have never heard of this..I am thinking this might just be an individual store thing..I would try another store.

I would wait unless you see something you are definitely going to want....Target has their big baby clearance in July/August and January/Feb every year. Last July I was able to get the following crib for 75% off. The summer clearance on baby gear is just as good...You just never know what they are going to mark down. If you do buy something to put away..Make sure to take it out of the box to make sure nothing is wrong with it as you only have 3 months to return.. Both Targets I went to today was marked 70% off...Found one Chicco Travel system left and will return with the 50% receipt...

You will not need this many diapers in size newborn....They are only in that size for about 2 weeks...I have a 8 week old...and he was in newborn for 10 days and size 1 for only 4 weeks...Size 2 is what I buy now.. Next time you can always buy Size 2 or Size 3 and just stock up...

I stand corrected...This deal is not on the Bodega diapers...Its just on the regular big box diapers in the infant section...I bought 2 boxes of Huggies Size 3 122 ct...For 29.99 each...Minus the 2 $5 off Target Coupons, 2 $3 off Peelies and $15 gift card... and yes they let me use both $5 coupons in 1 transaction.

Actually that isnt a stupid question.... The bodega section of Target is the area with all the bulk supplies..Its like a mini Costco section and they sell items in there in bulk. Its next to the Valentines Holiday section in both of my stores...They have large boxes of diapers in this section too. On each box there is a $3 peelie and pair that with the $5 coupon and the $15 Target gift card that you get..Make sure to print off several coupons as you can use them for each box of diapers. HTH.

Its every 2 weeks with the baby gear...So my store was marked down 50% last week...It wont go 70% until next Monday...Possibly Friday..

Here is an article about the whole new pricing structure at Pennys. Personally I dont think its going to work. Yes they do...The problem is that most stores will be out of them by then as they wont be marked down for 2 more weeks typically....So I just buy at 50% and if my stores have it at 70% I will buy again and return it with the older receipt...I didnt want to risk waiting for my carseat/stroller combo as my stores only had 2 each...All accept for 1 sold out when they went to 50%.

Personally I would go check myself. I know a lot of people on this board call first before going..Especially if they live far away. But both of my local Targets have a lot of teenagers working for them and I would be afraid that they would miss something. Not to mention when I purchased the Chicco travel system, Friday night, they had 3 left and they were not with the regular baby furniture like they were when they were 30% off. After they got marked to 50% they moved them to a very obscure shelf. I had to really search for them.
