  1. Houston: School supplies still 30%
  2. Yep. One of the Targets that I go to had only about 10 bins of stuff on Saturday. The rest of the bins were empty.
  3. They definitely do not price match other Targets. Their explanation is usually volume of sales---- if they are quickly selling clearance items at 30%, then there is no need for them to do further reductions until sales slow down.
  4. I have bought 4 of the Flameless Candles. None of them had coupons.
  5. Houston Westheimer: Pools; NASCAR stuff [glasses, bandanas, decals, etc]; Bamboo Torches --- 75% off
  6. No clearance yet on school supplies at Houston Galleria.
  7. RE: $5 off $25 Coupon -- My 2¢ The coupon was originally sent out regarding Target's grand openings. [Although now there is the PH coupon.] Target has advised another website to take down all postings of the scanned coupon as it is fraudulent.
  8. What has helped me track "usual" clearances is to keep a log in the back of my desk calendar where I note: (1) Item [eg. Christmas; Toys; Global Bazaar]; (2) Store Location; (3) % Off; &, (4) Date/Day. I keep the previous year's calendar [or the list] for at least another year and refer back to it. Is anal rententive hyphenated?
  9. Yes. A lot of the school supplies go on clearance since they don't regularly stock those items. Can't remember if they do a 15% and then 30%; but they definitely go to 50% and then 75% off. I've even found a few items at 85% off.
  10. Houston Galleria still has some of the Play Wonder items @ 75%: Sandbox w/canopy; TeePee; Wood Bowling Set; Egg/Spoon Game, etc. Also saw the Father's Day gift items at 75%: Ties; Travel Table Tennis; Electronic Darts and a few other items
  11. Houston Westheimer/Fondren: Was there around 12:30. They had a good supply of the PlayWonder items at 75% [especially the larger items] but they were going fast. As I was walking out, one customer had a flatbed cart stacked with various playsets. Also found bulk items at 50%: Crest or Colgate 3 pks; Softsoap refill; Hefty Cups & Plates; Purell; Tilex; Deodorants
  12. Houston Westheimer/Fondren: As of 11:00 today, they still had an OK amount of 75% clearance toys--Bionicles; National Geographic, Bob the Builder, Polly Pockets, Fairytopia
  13. There were no further deductions on the toys this morning.
  14. Stopped by the Houston Galleria store this morning. Patio is 75%. They had a lot of cushions, little else.
  15. Last year they hit 75% the first week of August.
  16. 4th of July was 90% at one store, but still 75% at another. Also, the dollar spot items that previously were on clearance were ringing up full price. I asked the manager about it and he said that corporate made the change.
  17. Plastic ware is at 75%---plates, bowls, cutlery, tumblers, divided plates, etc. Also had the "Vintage" Tony the Tiger sets of bowls or mugs at 75%
  18. Last year it was the first week of August.
