  1. Ok, I have a question. I have the 10% off, the $10 off $50 and a $15 off $150. Can I use all three coupons? I want the 32mb (or is it g) ipod in white. My DH gets his Christmas paycheck on the 15th so the $25 gc deal will have expired by then. Thanks SO much for any input!!

Read the coupons. They usually say one Target coupon per transaction or something like that. Probably not, but you can always try. If you decide to try, don't ask, and it is always best to be buying more than one thing if you are trying do something like that. Maybe batteries or something else from electronics, but I doubt you'll have success.

  2. Another HUGE video game clearance started this week. TONS of Wii, DS, and Xbox games at 50-75% off in South Orange County, CA. Picked up a lot of Christmas gifts!

There were TONS more but those are the ones I remember. A lot of Wii games between $5-6

The titles vary from store to store this time, as do the prices. Some stores are only 30-50% off. Still some good deals. I didn't see much that was great, but got a couple of 3DS games for stocking stuffers.

  3. I didn't see a thing in the Target BF ad that'd get me there either, I've never gone to the Lego store on BF, we're a Lego family though - maybe I'd better check it out!

I saw more things at interested me in the Kmart & Walmart ads...not that I really need much with all the Target clearance stuff I've been stocking up on! I really should get everyone out of the house for an entire day, and get all the stuff out and sort through it. I have a feeling I have more than enough for all the boys, as well as nieces, nephews, and young cousins. LOL!

Oh, yeah, if you have a Lego store near you it is a good deal. They do scratchers and you get a percent off your whole purchase. You have to get in line with an item and then you get the scratcher. I usually will buy a bunch of small sets one at a time to get more scratchers to try for the 50% off one. I have never gotten more than 30% off, so far, but even that is worth it. You can buy a little minifigure pack and get a scratcher, so I will probably do a bunch of those this year. If you get the higher value scratcher, you can go back and buy more stuff, so that's the way I work it. They know me at the store and they are pretty cool. We buy a LOT of Legos!

  4. If it isn't published, it is up to the store manager. I can tell you, though, that sometimes the item will get replenished if they have more. A couple of years ago they had a Lego Airplane half off and it kept getting cleared out and replenished. I've seen it happen with some electronics too. Just depends on how hot the item is and if they got many. But worth checking.
  5. I am not even sure I am going to bother with Black Friday this year. I went ahead and bought 2 Nintendo 3DS' when they had a $25 gift card. I think that is still the best deal I've seen. I've seen the special edition ones for BF with the games, but the only one the boys would want would be the Zelda version, and I think it was only at Game Stop. I got almost all the games I wanted to get them when TRU had them buy 2 get one free. I bought 3 of each game (generally they each want the same DS games) and sold the 3rd one on ebay for at or really near full price, so my final price was much better. Nothing I've seen in any of the ads has me much interested. My mom nearly fainted when I said I thought I'd skip it this year. I haven't missed it a single year (except when I was living abroad) in the last 23 years. I MAY make a trip to the Lego store for Brick Friday since I always get the Christmas set and want the other special edition one, but that's it. Sorry, know this is somewhat OT, but it has been pretty quiet around hear lately. :-)
  6. What is Target's no reciept return policy for seasonal items? I think I remember in years past they told me I had to exchange the item for another from the same department. Any $$ limits? And is it per store or all of Targets?

    TIA!!!

I've never found their policy to be different for seasonal without a receipt, at least until it goes clearance. They SHOULD give you a store gift card as long as you have the item packaging. anyone else have any other experience?

  7. I bought a slushie maker about six weeks ago too. It was the summer one that's blue and white and they also had a matching one that made snow cones. The one becksters posted is a different kind and much larger, I looked it up on their website. The grater was weird. I typed in the number on the scanner and it came up regularly $19.99 on sale for $16.99 and not regularly $4.98 so that was a major score for 'em! I've been at two stores so far so hopefully I can get lucky with the pots & pans sets and another location.

Aha! Well, we bought the snow cone maker last year (same as the one from this year), and it works great for just us. If I had to make many I'd hate it, but easy enough for 1 or 2. Been seeing a lot of odd things with typing in numbers on the scanner. I have taken a number from an item in a locked case sitting there with a clearance sticker showing a price like $99.98 and typing it in to make sure the sticker is right only to have it show $199.99!! Craziness!

  8. Scored lots of great deals today! All were at 75% in Home Dept.

There was another set of Kitchen Essentials by Calphalon 10pc black set regular like $279 on clearance for only $75. And my sister got one of those Patio Deck Seat Boxes for only $15 (no DCPI, sorry). I think this was a successful trip!

Is your store going through its remodel to add the grocer section? The only item I could find that was 'regular' clearance was the flex mixing bowls. Everything else was full price :(

The slushie maker & stuff went clearance hear about 6 weeks ago. The other stuff I ahve seen at various stores, but not all at one. It is out there, but seems to be selling out quickly.

  9. "Target’s Toy Catalog, available Nov. 1, has been expanded and features eight more pages than last year, as well as a coupon insert that contains more than $350 in savings. To help busy parents stay organized during the holiday season, the toy catalog focuses on list building – complete with checkboxes next to every item, and a special tear-out list for kids to complete."

Is there any way to get this catalog if you aren't in their marketing region? I am 30 minutes from the nearest Target, but go there for bf. I want the coupons!

The coupon book is always available in store in an end cap display. However, they expire the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. If you only go for BF, they won't be valid.

  10. True, but the 250gb hard drives can easily be found online for as little as $60. So $359 total plus the $75 gift card is about $284 for the 250gb Kinect Bundle compared to $399. No camping needed. I know it takes the fun out of the deal though:cool:

From all the research DH (he is a programmer and knows tech stuff) has done (we are looking for one for DS), adding the hard drive is never as effective as getting it pre-built with it installed. They are much, much more prone to problems when you add the HD. later. I've seen this price several times over the last few months including at TRU & Best Buy.
