  1. Try and find a good installer. I know it is hard. We went to a local independent dealer and the guys he contracted with were horrible. After coming back to fix the buckling, the carpet is doing it again. We thought it was the carpeting and had our Son's friends father look at it and he said the installers didn't use a power stretcher. You could call the local Union near you and see if anyone is available/on layoff.
  2. I had the same experience with them. I had bought a couple of shirts for my husband and of course, he didn't like them. (Late June) Shortly afterwards I had a miscarriage. Went to return them in early August with the receipt and they treated me like I had stolen them. They instisted that I specifically had to get men's shirts. I told them my husband had an issue with the quality of the shirts and was in the store for something else. Their answer was no........ So I left and so went my business and I don't hesitate to tell others.........
  3. Congrats on Preschool! I recommend doing some research before buying them. Not long ago, they found lead in the insulated portion of the bags. I have been putting paper bags and stainless steel thermoses (they come in all sizes) in back packs this year. I think I'll buy a few more stainless insulated drink containers since a lot of the plastic drink containers (sippy cups and sport bottles) have been found to leach chemicals. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. If you don't mind talking to people. I'd suggest chatting with some well known pool installers in your area. Tell them you interested in having one installed and find out why they recommend going with certain filter systems, and the pro's and con's of vinyl liners vs other finishes. Some of your choices will depend on the shape you desire. Others based on where you live. Gunite may crack more in northern climates and can be rough on young feet. Good luck
  5. I also buy my chemicals from Sam's. Your local pool store may have "classes" on how to take care of your pool. That is a big help. Not sure how big your pool is, but, depending on where you live, it might be ecomonical to use a pool service. My cousin lives in AZ and he paid 30-40 a month for someone to come in. In my area, they charge 75 per trip and the cost of chemicals. Buy the strips that measure your sanitizer etc..
