Diamond Bar did not hit 75% on the first day, the hit it on Sun. Wonder if they'll hold off on 90% for another day or if it'll go 90 today? Answering my own question. Went to DB today and it was 90% off. I had finished my shopping and was getting ready to leave when they started wheeling out about 5 cart/tub's full of stuff. So I had to hang around until they opened and I finished shopping, LOL.

Am I right in assuming that a pilot case is the smaller carry one suitcase? My mom is looking for new luggage but needs the larger check thru size.

It did come in an apple box, but I do remember it had tape at the ends saying it was refurbished. I gave it to my kids for Christmas and they didn't care. I don't think you could pass it off as being "new" if that was your intension, however, if you didn't care they knew it was refurbished, it was in a nice package with booklet, warranty card, etc. inclosed. HTH!

I bought 2 of the old shuffles refurb. almost 2 years ago from Apple. I have had no problems, I'm considering an upgrade for my kids (they're getting a bit older, 10 and 12) and this might be the answer. Thanks!

Yes, the Zantac is for the full amount, limit 2. I'm not personally impressed with this weeks ad, I *might* stop by tomorrow for the suave deoderant on their 3 day ad. It's on sale for $.88 and I have coupons. It'd be nice for my "food pantry" stash.

If I remember right, the triple bucks is only for non-ECB buys. Well personally, I don't buy much unless I get ECB's back, so I don't expect to get much. We'll see....

OK, I got the form for the Amex gift cards. Says buy 2 Amex (does not specify denomination, they come $25, $50 and $100 at my store) before 9/30/07. Fill out rebate form (printed at www.safeway.com/Amex) and within 60 days they'll mail you a $25 gift card good only at Old Navy, Banana Republic, Gap and Linen-n-things. It says the gift card will expire within 3 months of being issued. Does not say the Amex gift cards have to be purchased at any particular store, so any that have the gift card section.

My grocery store (Vons) was running the same deal (I'm guessing they're the same because they have a amex gift card deal also). You have to buy two Amex gift cards (remember these have a $3.95 (?) activation fee with each) and then with a mail in rebate, you get a $25 gift card for either Gap, Banana Repulic, Old Navy or Linen-n-things. Unfortunately, when I went to Vons to do the deal, they were out of the rebate forms. The Mgr. promised me he'd get them back in with-in a day or two. HTH!

I was at our CVS yesterday, and summer markdown is still only 50%. I even had them scan something to make sure the signs were not wrong. I know it "never rains in CA" but we do enjoy moving into fall and being done with summer just like everyone else, LOL.

I was wondering the price of the American Express gift card you have to purchase? The picture in my grocery store ad (Vons)shows a $50, don't know if that is a requirement or suggestion. It does say that the $25 gift card is by mail and good for Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic or Linen's N Things.

That is one area of the store I never check, I just walk right by it. Guess I *need* to check it out, I love watches!

I bought 24" bikes for my kids at the end of Jan at 75% off. These were clearanced after Christmas. I also seem to remember them clearancing some around Oct.

My CVS ad has a 1/2 sheet wrapped around the outside (the kind that usually has the 3 day ad on it) and for next week it has 4 $25 coupons for new or transferred RX. That's $100 worth if you have 4 to transfer! I live on So. CA.
