With kids shows like barney, bear in blue house, etc. , sometimes if you write the actual website of who is on tour, you can actually get backstage passes. When we took my son to Barney, I wrote to the barney website and was able to get backstage passes from the tour promotor. It was so cool. We were also able to do that with another kids show. It pays to do your research and ask. Maybe they will do it, maybe not, but its worth a try.

If you ever want to order a birthday cake or any type of sheetcake, Costco has better ones at the same price as Sams. Sams cakes are great and are at a good price but only two flavor choices. Costco has cakes with a cream cheese filling which is sooo good and they are not any more expensive. Both Sams and Costco cakes are much better than what supermarket bakeries have to offer and a lot cheaper.

Anyone who has not bought the gift certificates is missing a great deal! This is definately a great way to try restaurants that you have never been to. I have not had a problem using them at any restaurant that I have been to and I bought several of them at a time. Only one word of advice about these are to check your ticket before paying. Some restaurants automatically add the 18% gratuity, some do not. I ended up "double tipping" last time as I did not double check the total until later that night. The service was really good so I was not too upset that the waitress got a 40% tip on the total but it kind of defeated the money I saved with the certificate. Like I said, some add the tip automatically, some do not. I usually wait until they are 60% off then buy a bunch at one time. On some of the more popular ones, if you wait til 70% off, they are already gone. Thanks guys for turning me on to such a great deal that I knew nothing about until I goined GottaDeal.
