I remember last year someone had a recipe for a rolo, pecan, pretzel,and chocolate. I think it was here I found it. If it was can someone post the recipe again? These were a big hit last year.

I always go through their toys when they are not home. I pretty much know what toys they play with all the time and what ones they may play with every once in a while. I usually bag them up and put them in a room where they can't see them and donate them to our church for their rummage sale, some get thrown away, some go to grandmas, some go to other children. The best way for me to really clean up is to do when they aren't home.

I think the ornament is cute! I had a big sister when I was a child and anything you get her sheis going to love. More than anything is she is going to just love spending time with you and having you as a friend. Thank you for being a big sis because you probably are a very important person in her life right now that she can count on.

on Christmas eve we do it with my family and the youngest opens all theirs first and then the next youngest and so.. Christmas morning all eyes are on my two boys. I usually video tape and dad helps. The oldest has NO problems opening his present but my youngest doesn't really like to do it (autism) so we kind of help him becaue he does get excited about the toys..On Christmas day we go to church and then come home and open stocking and play with new toys all day..Then on New Years Day we have Christmas with my husbands side(we have to rent the church gym there is over 100 just immediate family). There usually around 2:00 the older kids start passing out presents and you just open them( you only get presents from your godparents). I have the same rules as conj.I always tell the oldest even if you have one or don't like it you better act like it is the BEST thing you have ever been given:)He's pretty good about it.

My son is 7 and he loves science. Do you know of any science projects I could get him that is age appropriate?

well I am going to have to give my busdriver somethig extra special now because I threw a fit and we have to have an IEP meeting to decide if we need an aide on the bus for my son. He is a pretty laid back guy. He has been our busdriver for the last 5 years.

I am a sahm so i'm always off that day but hubby has to take a vacation day to watch the kids. His employer always lets him have it off because he works at the school and there isn't much to be done that day anyways.

This is my first year doing this. Do you guys get a box from the post office that charges a flat fee or do you just use whatever box you can get your stuff to fit in? Also how do I need to mail it so that I get a confirmation number? As you can tell I don't mail stuff often. Thanks

He seems to always like the homemade candy. One year we got him a t-shirt that said bus drivers are hell on wheels. He really liked that. I haven't gotten him a coffe mug yet maybe I will do that this year. Thanks for all the ideas.

this is my grandmas recipe if you can call it a recipe:) Tear up a bunch of bread into bite size pieces let them set over night to harden. chop up some celery and onion and cook them in some chicken broth until tender. Pour the chicken broth and celery and onion over the bread and add some of the turkey broth until mushy. Then you add poultry seasoning and stir. Put in oven and cook for around an hour. I love this stuffing but she isn't around to make it anymore. We all try but its never like grandmas:) You could also add some cut up turkey in it if you want.

I think I got it all fixed now. I have never heard of this store but it is on Brads list to win prizes so I assuming it should be a good site.
