$24.99 for the convienience of just going to a local target isn't bad at all, but like with all extended warrenties, you probably won't need it. If your system is faulty, you'll more than likely know within the manufacturers warrenty period... as long as you use it.
Not always true.
My son's 360 went bad after having it for 6 months. And the warrenty was only for 90 days.
I got the warrenty for the Wii just in case.

My son went with his friends early this morning to TRU. All 4 of them got tickets. His best friends mom also went to Target. She got one there and called her son. So my son and his friends went to the back of the line and gave people their tickets. There were 4 happy people.

NYC Best Buy
I got the circular yesterday with my paper. Thought I could get it considering the majority of people wouldn't get the ad until this morning.
WRONG!!
Walked over to the Best Buy on 86th street at 9:55, (the store opens at 10) and there was a line of over 30 waiting to get in so I passed.
I don't know why I even try to buy laptops at stores. At this point I should just go to Dell.com and use my company's discount.
Were they all wanting a laptop or trying to get a Wii?

I agree, giftcards are the best. I get them for my kids(both teenagers) and they love them.

Ok, as a mom to 3 boys 2 of which are teens. I have to say that the wii gets played more now. Now this could be because its new but the xbox 360 really has not been touch other then my brother who plays it daily .. I got the kids a Playstation 3 for Christmas ( they dont know about this yet) so I guess we will find out which one will win this year at our house LOL.. Now when Halo 3 comes out I know my kids will be wanting to play that. They are big Halo players..
My son was actually playing the first Xbox last night with his friends. I had to send his 360 in for repairs because it kept freezing.
My son LOVES Halo too.
I haven't let him play the wii yet, that is a Christmas thing.

LOL You can say that again. It never fails though, every Christmas there is some toy that they have to have and is hard to get but I always get it.
I think they do it on purpose because they know people/kids will continue to want the new thing.

Best Buy didn't sell any today. I think they're holding them for next week for some reason.

I don't do the stand in line thing. I don't have patience like that. I talked to 3 managers on the phone and that was enough for me to decide to look online until I found one. I looked online for 3 days and got one for my son. Then looked again for another day and scored another one for a friend. Much easier than standing in line.

I would like to know what time Target and Best Buy are getting the Wiis this sunday. Also, where did you hear this info?
I heard it from managers.
And your best bet is to be there atleast a hour before they open, especially if there aren't that many stores around.

I don't shop at Walmart much. I think I have been there 3 times in the last 3 yrs.
And there are plenty near me.

I think im going to go wih the 360 since my boys love the sports games...But im still researching.. I just want something they will both enjoy.
My son is a big sports fan too, so 360 was the best choice for him. He has all his friends over all the time.

They have ALWAYS been up at TRU but you can not put them in your cart. THEY HAVE NOT been in stock, they are on back order!
I ordered mine today from TRU. I received an email with my order number. I also received an email with detail order info and telling me where to track my purchase at.
Tracker never had it showing up.

I don't want to spend alot of money on a bundle so I'll keep refreshing!
I felt that way at first, but after refreshing for a total of 2.5 hrs it got old fast.
In the end you will spend that much if you buy the games. Most of the games are 49.99 each.
I did the bundle deal with the 360 too. And my son loves it and now he will have his wii. He didn't want the PS3.

I think it is nice that parents do go out of their way to make their children's wishes come true.
I have been lucky to have scored 3 online. I tried that checking store thing for 2 hrs one day and I was done.
I wish all that haven't gotten one yet, good luck.
