Well, at least it told you something. My discount showed and then when I entered my MC info and clicked order I ended up with a higher amount charged to my card. I called and they said my order was already processing and that they had been having problems with the promo code. They offered a $10 credit to my card after it processes. I need what I ordered so I accepted that. Just be forewarned that it might show at first and then change after you click order. *ETA - Sorry, I forgot to say thank you Gurnee Al for the promo code. I am far along into my pregnancy and getting everything ready now. I am looking for a rocker or rocker/recliner with cushioning for the family room. The best price I have found is at Walmart for $158. Is this the best deal out there? Also looking for a laptop computer so I can work in different areas of the house and in bed. Of course I like Dells, but if there is a great deal out there on another brand that would be great. I would prefer one with a wireless card and enough memory to support "working" on. I had already bought Elmo before Christmas so I took it back Thursday and asked them if I could return it and buy it back at the B1G1 price. They had to ask the manager and she said yes (maybe being pregnant and having my 3yr old with me helped lol). I was able to find one Wiggles game so we got that and re-bought the Elmo one plus used my $5 gift card from a survey I did for TRU. Total came to about $16 which was WAY better than the $21 I spent for 1 game before Christmas. There were only about 6 games left on the shelves.

Thanks for the advice eveyone! I think if I decide to go I will see if my husband can get the day off and come along. He is 6 foot 5 and 240 lbs, when I am with him no one ever bothers me lol. Now we just gotta set up our 3 year old to go stay with Granma and Grampa.

This year on BF I will be almost 6 months pregnant. I have heard so many horror stories about past Black Fridays and was wondering if it would be safe to go fight the crowds or should I just stick to shopping online? I am here in Houston so the stores are almost always crowded and with our new residents from New Orleans it will probably be even more crowded this year.

I am in the Greenspoint area, so I will be going to the dreaded Greenspoint Mall. lol, There aren's many stores in the mall so I am hoping people will decide to go to other areas/malls instead. Got my fingers crossed that everything won't be gone.

Well, I finally decided to brave it. I usually stay in on BF and watch the reports on the news. This year I am going to go out and get those deals! I was afraid I might not be able to go out again this year because I refuse to take my toddler into those crowds and hubby has treatment that day. My mom offered to keep her for me (since we will be visiting for TG anyway she is just going to spend the night). I am so anxious now. I have started working extra shifts just to have BF spending money. Our rent is free this coming month since we just renewed our lease so that means I should have a nice wad of cash Guess I will be doing some serious shopping. So far I plan on venturing to the mall stores (Sears, Radio Shack, Bath and Body Works and maybe some others) and to Walgreens. I might run in Toys R Us later in the day but we already have all her Christmas stuff. I refuse to got to Walmart because it is a madhouse everyday here since I live in a busy area, days like that make me wish I lived in a smaller town. Anyway, I will have to find out what time the mall opens and be there. I will not be waiting in the cold because I am not even sure it would be worth it, with my luck everything might be sold out before I even get in. I hope to get some online deals on Thanksgiving day too. Well, I just had to share my joy with someone and who better than you all! *Quick question* Have you ever ventured out later in the afternoon on BF and still got some deals or was everything already sold out?
