  1. I don't know if this is everywhere but the Halloween decorations at our Walgreens are all 75% off already.
  2. Did #3 woo hoo. Spreading the love!!!
  3. Went to my first BF several years ago with my mom and sisters. OMG I didn't know people could be so crazy! Anyway, the store opened and the crowd rushed forward to get the "toy of the year"...(I think it was a furby) it was about 4 people deep all trying to pull and grab. I looked at the guy next to me, asked how many he needed. He said 1, so I said okay...push me in. He grabbed me, shoved me through the mass of people. I grabbed 2 and then he pulled me out. We each got one and I was even offered $200 for mine. I had to get it for a family member so I declined (I think in hine-sight) I should have taken the cash
  4. Yep, I got the invite too...but I have Verizon so I declined it.
  5. Thank you so much! Great find.
  6. I think I'll put one one layaway at Kmart then when the price drops, I'll have it adjusted.
  7. Just got the Avocado Party...sounds interesting...anyone else?
  8. DH and I have 6 kids between us (12-19). If it weren't for BF we wouldn't be able to get them the more expensive items (namely laptops, cameras) that they get. It allows us to get really nice gifts without breaking the bank.
  9. The kids are older now so I think I'll be buying less and just giving cash. A few gifts but nothing like in years past.
  10. 1. In your opinion, what store had the best Black Friday ad last year (2008) and why? Best Buy had the best ad, IMO, DH and I have 6 kids (12 and over) so we buy alot of electronics...they always have what I am looking for on BF for the best price. 2. What would be your #1 piece of advice to someone totally new to Black Friday? Get in line early!!! Don't be one of these people that show up at 4 in the morning and expect to be the first in the door. 3. Besides offering great deals, what else can a store do to get you to shop there on BF? Allow concessions (roach coach's, vendors, etc) and have bathrooms available...People are in line for a long time and they need these things :)
  11. I don't know about Washington but in Colorado there is a fund set up with the state government. If the GC is more than $25 and its over 3yrs old (I think) you can get your money back from them. I will have to look up the link for CO but you may want to check Washingtons site and see if they have anything similar. Found the story...http://www.9news.com/rss/article.aspx?storyid=82605 Its 5 years old not 3.
  12. I really needed new pie pans...thanks much!

  21. Does anyone know if you can transfer these to an mp3 or burn them to disc?
  22. They do their chai coffee through Amber Tea and they are the ones that wouldn't reply back after I submitted the order. No email, no calls just the confirmation email that I placed the order and that was it
  23. Okay GDers, I need help finding someone that sells Chai Coffee. I had found a place online but they never shipped my order and won't return calls or emails so I have to start again. If anyone knows where I can find this please let me know. I have found the teas without any problem but the coffee seems to be illusive :)
  24. FREE set of 2 philips tripods for your camera....just pay shipping 3.99 1saleaday.com http://www.1saleaday.com/gallery_large/100720_26_1.jpg
  25. tips are not part of the GC. and should be figured on what the meal would have cost. I don't think a dessert will make up the difference from $35 to $100. At least not where I can afford to eat.
