Thanks for letting me know wow..I was in there last year...must of missed it with all the holiday shoppers I was just trying to get out of there quick...lol

We did a a gift basket last year for a family at my Church that was having a hard time. We put in the basket a $200.00 Walmart GC, 4 movie rentals GC from Block Buster, Quick Trip GC for gas, popcorn, chips, juice boxes, candy and 2 board games. Then the church got them a turkey with all the trimmings. We had our children's Pastor take it over and tell them that it was donated in their name and he has no idea who it was...my boys are real good at keeping this kind of a secret.

Where do you get the OU tree stuff that may be a way to get DS9 in to it as he is a ittle OU Sport freak..lol I am not sure what we are going to be doing this year...usally we help out a family at our Church but this year...there isn't anyone that we know of or that Pastor has told us about..so we may go with the angel tree.

I am really wanting a 42" LCD for the living room but only if they are going for $500.00-$550.00 or so on BF, does that sound about right or do you think that they will be going for more? I am also wondering if there is going to be any small LCD's on sale for the kids rooms. I just cleaned DS9 room and a nice LCD would leave so much more room then his 4 year old SDTV.

Me too my kids are getting big and want the expensive stuff now.

Nope I am in line at Best Buy I do however leave DS 15 there when I go to get Thanksgiving dinner from Crackle Barrel...lol

Thats what I did too...DS 9 thinks that I send Santa money via PayPal..lol and that we go out on BF to pick stuff up for Santa because he can't have elves at every store..lol There are times that I think he really knows but if he does then he falls for the Santa Tracker every year and wants to drag DS 15 to be at 6 pm...lol DS 15 is great about it he really enjoys watching his brother belive...he helps with the wrapping and last year he was the one who got in line for the Wii...he kept saying "Jacob is gonna lose it Christmas mornin'! How much do you wanna bet that he will get so excited that he shakes?" Then there are those times that he tells him "Santas elves came a little while ago and I told them that you have been a slob and don't do your chores, so if you clean my room I'll tell them that you've been real good nex time they come." Well they are brothers after all...

My Ace is in the opposite direction from where I am as well...every year they have a thing or 2 that I want and I say I am gonna get there but I have never made it yet.

The laptop I got at BB last year says it was made in Aug 2006.

This is the beginning of the anticipation for more ads once the first one hits....now I'll be on GottaDeal more then I am already...lol

It was Home Depot that had the TV's last year.

At my Best Buy you have to be there before noon on Thanksgiving Day or you loss out on any of the doorbusters...I get there between 6-8 am and save the Turkey for after shopping...lol

I used a personal shopper last Black Friday and it was really cool. I e-mailed her my list on Wednesday night and then on BF she came and saw me in line and asked if anything had changed, if I had tickets for the items that I e-mailed her and told me to go directly to the service desk and give my name and the tickets to claim my stuff. It worked like a charm and I was in and out of the store in 30 minutes. Any other experiences with a PSA on Black Friday??

Best Buy unless Walmart has cheap laptops this year. In years past my first stop has changed as my kids got older when they where smaller it TRU and then Walmart and now it is Best Buy for the electronics.

We get up on Thanksgiving morning I fill a thermos with tea...kids eat breakfast. We pack snacks, drinks, tent, games, ect. Then off to Best Buy we get there between 6:00am-8:00am every year. We wait and wait and sleep and eat and wait some more. Now the day before T-Day I am at BB checking things out...lol

I will be in Tulsa Oklahoma without a t-shirt..but I am thinking of buying a backpack for all of my Black Friday must haves...
