  1. LOL I spend too much...I am glad I am not even close to being the only one. I just love buying gifts for the kids and the family. Every year I say I will go over board and I do anyway. I have two kids DD4 and DS11. This year I really did manage not to buy extra presents just so they have "stuff" to open. I usually spend $300 on each. And used to try to keep the gift numbers the same for each so I had to keep evening up every time I found something else for one or the other. Ugh This year my son is old enough to realize the cost and I told him his sister is going to end up with more gifts than him, but his cost the same or more than hers. This year I had no idea what to get my son so I bought him a bunch of new board games and other items Ipod, robot, models. Then I managed to get the Wii and of course I had to get a couple games for it, but I can't have him open only 5 things on Christmas morning(how boring for me) so I kept most of his other items, so he is at about $500. I have to return some stuff, but I probably won't. If I start shopping early I keep finding cool stuff they gotta have and I buy more and more. If I shop late there are great sales for things I have to buy or there are a million commercials for stuff my daughter says she neeeeeds. But, I did good this year the only thing I put on the credit card that I have to pay off is the Wii console. :)
  2. When we go to my inlaws for Christmas Eve. Dinner is baked ham(regular or Spiral) & roasted pork, lazy pierogies, scalloped potatoes, different veggies. Then a bunch of desserts. Christmas Eve at my family's is just appetizers. Strombolis(calzone), Stuffed Mushrooms, Veggie & meat and cheese/ cracker platters w/ snowflake rolls, Deviled Eggs, Bacon wrapped Scallops, Chips & Dips, Taco Salad, Shrimps, Spinach Avacado Dip and Tortillas. My mother makes this awesome homemade Eggnog. Christmas day at my family(mom's house) is Turkey, Stuffing, Potatoes, Squash, Turnips, Green Bean Casserol, Broccoli, Sweet Potatoes, Asparagus. Dessert is any possible pie you can imagine. My mother makes about 12 different ones. And she always make her Hot Apple Cider that she boils with secret spices and oranges Mmmmmm
  3. This sounds like a great idea! Thanks, I have a school bake sale in a couple days. Around Christmas time Rice Krispies usually puts out a red and green colored cereal. I am going to try and find that for this snack.
  4. I have a Farouk Chi. It is awesome! When I got it 4 years ago or so it was about $160. I was checking ebay the other day for a friend and they were going for about $60. I don't know what retail place would sell them.
  5. OMG this is awesome! Thanks so much. I have a bunch of things to buy there Friday!
  6. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4961029 Walmart is the only place I could find one. It is the newer fuzzy feel more expensive one. Shipping is only .97.
  7. My son is 11 and other than video games he is hard to shop for. This year along with his Wii I did get him a bunch of new "board" games...Yahtzee Turbo, Big Trouble, Cranium Cadoo and Uno Spin so he/we can do something besides video games. I also got him a Robo Dog which is only $19.99 at Circut City. And a Red Sox sweatshirt and jersey. Walmart sell a science kit where you can grow different crystals. My son spotted it the other day and now wants it. Good Luck!
  8. It does say right on my Google email that the bonus discount won't show up on the Timberland emails. Most likely because Timberland does get paid the full price, the $10 coming from Google themselves.
  9. LOL I have ordered from them twice this past week. I joined here to save me $$ and I am spending way more than I should because everyone keeps finding all these good deals.
  10. Thank you! I just ordered just what I wanted. Including an item that was marked out of stock this morning and the codes worked!
  11. Man, that was fast... I couldn't get it..wah...I kept getting bumped off after I entered the words. I did manage to get the drill though which isn't bad for $20.
  12. No patience for the line thing either or the searching. The day they came out I stalked all the ebay Wii auctions and luckily managed to get one with Zelda for $50 over retail. Well worth the extra $$...
  13. Nothing I want will go into my cart:mad: Even though it says item in stock...suddenly oops there is no more of them. Although, I am grateful that I did manage to order 2 embroidered princess robes the other day for a bit less than $12.00 now they are $19 with no embroidery available.
  14. My son has the Heelies and he can pop the wheels in and out without the key, and he doesn't always use the caps which you do need the "key" for... We had bought knock offs with the button and it is so hard to push the button and half the time he was stressing out because it just didn't want to work. And the shoes were so heavy. I hope your button kind is better than the type we bought.
  15. I can't get to CC until tomorrow...I hope they have some left..I just paid $50 at TRU. Sinvids...Thanks, but you are thinking of the Mini Robo reptile..in your TRU this Robo pet is regularly $79
  16. Can someone please tell me how tall and wide this piano is? It doesn't say in the discription. Thank you~
