i feel sorry for these people working at sears. i went to a sears hardware and a regular one last night for F&F and there were very very few customers. i think the hardware store had 3 customers including me at 6:30 last night and like 7 salespeople. the other regular sears showed the same picture: about 20 salespeople in the hardware/electronics departments and like 5 customers. did not go upstairs as there were 3 cars in the whole parking lot. maybe other stores did better, but i doubt it. not too good for sears.

well, i got the samsung washer/dryer pair two years ago. they were the ones that sears had on sale for friends and family night, but i had lowes price match them about 3 weeks before they had the sale with a printout of the ad from gottadeal.com (hehe). that was one sweet year for black friday (circuit city was still around and best buy had some great deals on laptops and tvs and everything else not like now). anyway, those samsung appliances are great, work nice with no problems and no mold issues either (i leave the washed door open all the time). i also have a samsung dishwasher but it does not clean as good as the maytag i had before (about 300 dollars cheaper too for the maytag). i did buy the maytag but the bugger stank as hell after a few washes and have no idea why, but the samsung is the same. they all smell, so it might be the water i am using or something. but they seem great. if they are worries about stuff made in south korea then look at everything out there. i was just at sears and their kenmore stuff is made in korea probably by samsung or lg.

holy crap, i made it to msn, even though this is not tv but still pretty cool.

it doesn't matter what walmart will have, i am not stepping foot in there. they can sell a 50in tv for $199, but won't find me there. my local one is a jungle even at like 10am. waited about half hour for a chair last year, and the line did not move. so, i just ditched the damn thing right then and there and walked out. they should stop being hard asses and let brad post it as the ad is all over the web. nothing interesting for me in there, but i was not planning on getting anything anyway.
-
i was thinking the same thing brad they came about a little late but quite fast this year. so there is hope we will see the home depot ad tonight? nice by the way, why are we calling them leaks if you cannot post them before they give the green. i mean i understand the legalities of it, but you should say from the beginning what you have and what you do not even if you do not post them. if the stores give them to you or you get them from other people, then they should be posted and truly call them leaks. my 2 cents.
-
is it just me but the only big ones left to leak are staples, officemax, office depot and home depot (besides walmart). anybody heard anything about these?
-
what?????? how is this any different that what they have any week? this is an insult to black friday. ridiculous.

i am not looking for anything in particular but besides the hard drives i do not see anything interesting
-
i do not see anything that i want to buy. i think i will skip sears this year along with many many other stores.

Acer Aspire One AOD250-1151 Netbook $229 at Amazon
jmecherul replied to jmecherul's topic in Online Hot Deals
keep in mind that those compaq's at bb for $180 have a fixed 1GB memory max so you can't upgrade to 2. keep that in mind when hunting for netbook this shopping season -
Acer Aspire One AOD250-1151 Netbook $229 at Amazon
jmecherul replied to jmecherul's topic in Online Hot Deals
these are nice. where i live the tax is 7.75% so on $200 that would be $15.5. i think it is worth the extra $14.5 not to stand in line at early hours of the morning to get into limited stock. unless you can get them for $150, then i think it is a good deal. you can also return them to amazon UNOPENED for a full refund, or opened for a 15% restocking fee within 30 days so if you find a better deal you are safe. my 2 cents. -
Acer Aspire One AOD250-1151 10.1" Netbook for $229 at Amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0023B138W/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&s=pc for blue http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0023B1396/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&s=pc for ruby red It seems to be selling quick since the black and white ones are already higher priced. Hope this helps beating out the crowds on BF

NEW Lenovo Ideapad S10-2 NETBOOK $209 shipped!
jmecherul replied to KoopawnKode's topic in Online Hot Deals
I have been looking at the site this info is coming from since 6:30am. i did not bite, but it worked for order for most of the day. lenovo has since taken down the designer color options when choosing the white one and bluetooth, so i think the deal is dead. will not be surprised if there will be a bunch of cancellations since the massive orders they probably got (their site was slow for most of the day and people were having trouble ordering). hope this helps. -
so nobody has any ideas?
-
any word on microcenter's bf ad? i am looking forward to that one.

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2009
jmecherul replied to Brad's topic in Offline Hot Deals
just got back from target. the gps was $160 and the toothbrush was $57 or so. it's been like that for a couple of weeks. I was looking at that toothbrush for a while. Have any idea if the price goes down in the whole system (those standalone scanners on poles around the store) or does someone have to actually scan it with one of those hand scanners for it to go down? thanks -
what the heck my posts are getting deleted. what is going on?

i am seeing unofficial reports that they are going to have the Wii for $199 plus a $100 gift card (just like the XBox deal). These are just rumors, so I do not know for sure.
