Are you referring to the 'Happy Holidays' vs. 'Merry Christmas' issue? I don't think the Garth Brooks set is the same. Last year it was in a tin if I remember correctly. Also, subliminally, they have been playing the 'Merry Christmas Charlie Brown' non-stop on the WM radio, ironic?

At Walmart, there are 2 kinds of markdowns: The Homeoffice markdown, and the instore markdown. Some of the times certain areas take a markup for certain things at certain times of the year such as Chicken Wings on Superbowl weekend, Ramen Noodles when college starts back up etc. Do you live near a college or anything like that? Also, are you sure it was the exact same model?

A lot of the times the cheaper laptops don't come through FEDEX/UPS, and are shuffled in with the same merchandise to the floor. The BF items come in on the same trucks, and occassionally get taken out, so you need to pay attention in the backroom. It is the time of year when people steal, return items try to get the money for them to buy the new good stuff for the holidays. It happens all the time. So maybe they were moving them because people are stealing them. You would be surprised who is stealing this stuff too.

And they come in black, blue and orange. Mostly black ones, followed by blue then orange.

Anyone hear about the 20" flat screens for 69.76? They are from Symphonic.

Hi all (This is my first post)... About Durabrand... I know the electronics suck, especially the DVD player. Save yourself the money, and get a brand name appliance. Durabrand is the 'Walmart' version of everything they make. From coffee pots to TV's to telephones. You say you have no problems with the appliances, but how often do you use them?
