They were at 30% in WA state tonite! Lots of employees scanning stuff and scurrying around. I saw aisles of shopping carts full of clearance stickered stuff. I tried to look in them but got a dirty look from one girl. I'll go back tomarrow for sure!!!

I'm SO excited! This was in a section FULL of clearanced furniture. I found too Pub Height Bar Chairs, really nice ones, with backs, for $7.08- I think they were a web purchase return, but dang... so nice. I have been wanting to buy a Pub Set for a long time and couldn't find a good deal. Then I ran out to Fred Meyer's (this is in WA state) and got a Pub height table with a glass top for half off of the clearance price, at $58! So I got a whole set for WAY less than for a set of the least price I could find anywhere else
OH, they had tons of kitchen things on sale. I got some "popcorn bowls" that are in the metal splatter ware that I use for camping... 4/$2.68. I got a set of the new square dishes for $6.00 (four plates) that my daughter wanted for her "Hopeless Chest"...
. First time in a long time that I hit a lot of good deals! Wish I had had more money!They had stuff in the "bulk area" (formerly the holiday aisles) all 30% off. Of note was a bunch of two pack Post Cereals (like cocoa pebbles, etc) for $3+, with a "buy this item, and a gallon milk, get $1 off sticker. But the milk was over $3 and I can get it at my local grocery store for less than $2. I DID get a HUGE bottle of Downy with a bonus bottle for $4... the smallest bottle is regularly that price. All these items were packaged with bonus sizes and bonus bottles. There were diapers included, and dish, laundry, and more included.

For instance, lots of tops are under $10, which would make two of them for less than $15! Tommy Hilfiger jeans are marked down to a bit less than $12. I don't see anything 50% off, compared to a few weeks ago. Some of the T's are cheaper... but that is it. The additional 20% off code is a good deal though, depending on what you are getting. And they ship on a turtle's back at reg. shipping, IMO.

If you don't get the order, be happy. I ordered many months ago and DO love the cedre bleu also... BUT... it took forever to get the order. I had fun with the samples too. I like the items much more so than the dollar store type things, but I think it is all over priced! I won't buy from them again though... too slow shipping and not that great of a deal once the items arrived. If they carry something you really like, then the codes, etc would be great. But on the whole, no real hot deal here.

Cool... thanks. I see their online add... that Schwinn's Stingray for $69 is an awesome deal... we got my 14 yr old son a huffy one like this last year through amazon. Unfortunately he didn't like it. I sold it (still in the box) on Craig's List for what I paid for it, so it worked out. I think adults like these more than the kids do. The guy who bought ours said if his daughter didn't want it, HE'D take it. haha... When I was a kid in 1969-70, my boyfriend Steven had a chopper bike... with a BANANA seat!!! We rode double every where. We were in 5th grade, and in love. He had long hair... and was SOOOOO cool! Hey, if anyone on here's name is Steven, and you had a cool chopper with a banana seat in the 5th grade... "Mona" says hi! LOL... :)

Any advice on a systematic way of finding the great deals? Or is there a certain section in each area to look out for? Any hints, tips? I am really excited to go... but don't KNOW the store like I do, say Target (where I know how to peruse), and am wanting to get the most out of this hour long drive... who knows how long there, and hour back home!

I spent $99 on a "beginner" electric guitar for my son several years ago... and he says this kawasaki is just as good or better... and he didn't get the amp with it. I'd go for it big time for my grandson, but he just isn't interested at 6 in playing guitar. Thinking about getting it in case a year or two down the road he is. What a deal! The drums are a great deal too. My son't first set of drums were a hawkshop deal, and amounted to the same... a child's drumset... and I paid a lot more. The "drum days" drove me nuts, by the way... and he was out in a shed behind the house with them!!! haha!
PS.
Just ordered my youngest son a set of bongo drums from a reputible music equipment co... anyone know of some places where he can go online to learn about "tuning" these?-- I'm assuming they need "tuned". I MUST be nuts doing more drum stuff.

My target (in SW wa) has hardly any clearance items. I found some really good deals in toddler clothing $2.+ shirts and sweatpants. But I got a set of car seat covers... and told the checker that they were not the $39, that she rang them up at, that the sign under them said $20... and she adjusted the price with no question. This was a few days ago... then I went back today... a few more deals in the clearance sections (mostly womens pj/lingerie section). When I went to the seat cover section, I looked again at the tags on the shelf... and noticed... the ONE SEAT COVER deal was $20, the TWO were marked at $39. lol... I can't believe that chick had just believed me. Of course, the covers I bought were misplaced on the shelf, I believe, but I didn't know that at the time. Oh well... don't feel the least bit bad either.

I discovered something about using the coupon with GCO... seems like certain items (like the skateboards that were marked 50% shipping) wouldn't stack. But other skateboards (marked free shipping) were able to go through. I don't know about other items.

amazon is funning with shipping. I ordered the spongebob skateboards and it said it wont be here until after christmas.Its already shipped and out for delivery
Just because it's shipped doesn't mean you will get it anytime soon. I know I have seen things sit at distribution centers for UPS for days and days before they move on. And even "out for delivery" doesn't mean you will absolutely be getting the item that day.
