  1. It's amazing to me that you really get the sensation you are doing the activity.

I can't do a lot of sports activities because of a messed up back, and thought "aha!" when we got this. I tried doing the fitness level check things and found that my back thinks I'm doing it all real-time too- especially with the baseball and bowling. Haven't even tried the boxing!

  2. I got my email explaining the delay in confirmation this morning (I ordered at 5 am sharp- on Friday). Then a few hours later I got an email saying the order was CANCELLED! I called them and after being on hold for twenty minutes was told, yep, out of stock. I said it sure wasn't out of stock when I ordered the stuff. And in fact there were a few items I had wanted that DID show out of stock, so I had gone down there and gotten those, but bypassed the stuff that I had ordered earlier online, since it showed in stock and appeared to be fine.

I asked the lady if the stuff was out of stock, why did it STILL (tonite) show all the items (minus one) as IN STOCK? She put me on hold for another 15 minutes and a "supervisor" got on. She explained to me that all online orders are dependant on availability. HUH? It showed IN STOCK... and is STILL showing in stock. She said no, that that was in stock for other areas... I said NO... this is when I log in and use MY zip code! She finally agreed to redo the order for me... at TODAYS prices. I said NO! Finally she said she could do it at today's prices, then credit me back the difference. She didn't want to give me the $10 off $50 like I got initially, but when I said to forget it, that I was going to complain to high heaven and back and raise a huge stink, then she said she would do it. MAN!!! What a PITA! Now let's see if they fix this all correctly!!!

I didn't get much sympathy from her when I said had I known it was an "iffy" situation, I would have just gone the 4 stinking blocks from my house to the B&M to buy ALL of the items I wanted and forgotten the dang internet ordering. I am steering clear of Sears' online buys til they fix the system. What is it they say? Me thinks the patients are in charge of the assylum!

  3. still haven't received our confirmation email yet either order little after 5:00AM

Ditto... and even though it LOOKED like my order went through... I will be really ticked if it got lost somehow. I went to Sears to get a few things later in the morning, but was ignorant to the site issues and didn't bother gettig what I'd gotten online cuz I thought all was good in that respect. Plus the site is STILL down! Can't check status or anything. Bummer.

Edited: 6:55 pm PST... Site is now up and working for me... Order status shows processing. But the total doesnt look right. Need to figure out if it is my memory or something with the site.

  6. I've left coupons on top of products. I've found them on the shelf as well... left by others. If I have some of my own, I leave those behind for others. Once in a while I say a silent thank you to someone who left one and I really needed it. Haven't ever offered a coupon though, but I would if it felt ok.

WOAH! Im proud of u!

I used the expired $1 off Coke 12 pks a couple days ago, shhhhhhhhhh! haha it was also on sale for $3 used the Target coupon generator before I left and ended up getting them for $2 each 12 pk! I havent seen pop that cheap in awhile! I felt bad only for a HALF second! haha I also today went to Target (yes I am there A LOT!) and used 2 of the $5 off $25 purchase that expires next month, it felt so great =) I got 2 Motts apple juices really cheap too!

Okay, a little off topic, but am I the only one that wants to share their coupons in the store with other customers?! I always want to stop them when theyre buying stuff that I KNOW I have coupons for that I know I'll probably never use, do you think thats odd or too upfront? I almost gave a younger lady yesterday a couple of $1 off Pamper coupons since she had a couple packs of them in her cart. She also had a couple kids with her, all under age about 5! I thought she looked like she could have used the couple dollars, but I was afraid she would think I was being rude or assuming she didnt have money. It would have made my day to help her out though!

  7. These DO stack with the Buy 1, get one half off deals. Just did this deal the other day. Pretty slick.

  8. for the past 2 years my little girl has woke up on christmas morning and went to her stocking and dumped everything into the floor and said "mommy, santa must shop at the dollar tree for my stocking stuff!!" so funny!!!:sidesplit:rotflol:

Last winter I was down at our local Dollar Tree, and an old man in a Santa outfit was walking through the aisles, talking to the kids at the store. I thought it was cute; and a big help for those kids who recognize Dollar Tree items in their stockings!

  9. The Dollar Tree in SW WA has Fruit of the Loom men's muscle t's. These do not look or feel like cheap seconds. I got a couple of them. They had tons left. The manager said they had just come in, and he didn't expect them to last long.
  10. Safeway in SW WA has a simillar deal. If you buy four General Mills cereals (chex and cherrios varities only) priced at 4/10.00, they automatically take 4.00 off. you can bring it down lower with shelf coupons -1.00 off two boxes. Plus a catalina prints out if you buy four, for a free gal of milk. the catalina said buy 6 and get 2 free gallons.
  11. Akademiks

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Akademiks (an intentional misspelling of "academics") is an American brand of urban clothing popular with devotees of hip hop music. The label was founded by two brothers, Donwan and Emmett Harrell, along with another group of partners.

In 2004, the label achieved a degree of notoriety when its advertisements on New York MTA buses, which included the tagline "Read Books, Get Brain", were banned. Although MTA officials had not originally realised that there was any double meaning in this phrase, it was later pointed out that "get brain" was in fact a slang term for "receive oral sex" along the lines of "get head". Akademiks released another small group of ads for the MTA in early September, 2006. The ads are clean and without controversy.

Akademiks has gained popularity in the clothing industry due to the number of celebrities who wear the brand's PRPS jeans.

The name Akademiks is spelled akdmks on many of the company's garments. Also its is sometimes spelled AKS for abbreviation.

The brand is popular in the growing multi-cultural hip hop scene of today, with artists such as Dizzee Rascal and 50 Cent partial to wearing the label.

  12. Ok, it would seem you CAN do the $25 deal multiple times (just did it today) but the water is good only one time per card.

I was able to REALLY score today:

10 tostitos @ 2/$5-- (the flour tostitos chips are very good)- took off the peelie coupon on bags for 1 free tostitos brand salsa or queso cheese dip for two bags purchased.

5 tostitos dips (free with the coupons from above)

    -------

This qualified me for the $25 giftcard, then I added for the $10 Summer Saver

1 safeway brand ice cream-$3 (summer saver promotion)

1 skippy honey peanutbutter-$2 (summer saver promotion)

    ----------

It came to $30, minus the $10 off of $50 - (which comes off of the before-club card total).

SO, for $20, I got all those items, and received $35 back for my future shopping. Got ONE more $10 off $50, so will do it one more time. I can't use all those chips, but will donate them somewhere. Just getting the free dip is worth it (not to mention making money on the deal as well. Tomorrow is the last day of the promotion~~!

  13. Ok...went back, got 8 more cases of soda and got another $25 gift card. Tried combining for the southwest card (got a trip planned myself!) and customer service REFUSED. In fact, they couldn't believe that I got two seperate print outs. She made me spend on just the $25 cards (which was fine) but then on the second, made me use my mom's phone. DUMB!!! Oh well, got a Kohl's card and then also a Safeway card (which CLEARLY says on the paper that a Safeway card was prohibited!

But the fine print in the advertisement has no mention of not being good at safeway... just Vons. I have noticed with my own experience in this deal, and my mother's, that the dollar amounts are often different-even when purchasing the same items over and over... and that it is YMMV, depending on who your cashier is and which Safeway you go to. I'm still trying to figure out how to do this AND the $10 Summer Savers promotion, which I hear works for some people.
