Mine still had most of DVDs I wanted at around 3:00pm on BF. I picked up rainchecks for the rest and had no problems getting those before xmas. Rainchecks make target the last stop on BF. You came skip it completely on BF and just go on Saturday to get the rainchecks or restocked items.

Sear and lowes is where I plan to get tools. Harbor Freight didn't spark my interest this BF. I get things from them yr round and they always have deals on cheap tools.

Line Cutting and Place Saving are the same thing. Both are wrong even if its for just "one person". If someone does it in front of me they can expect conflict. Your friends or family can go to the back of the line like I did and everyone else had to after me. Don't worry they'll still be friends or family after BF. Place savers and line cutters make me grumpy and somebody else's listed that as their worst annoyance. It's a domino effect and just takes one to turn the mob into a news worthy event.:)

Is there a BF online thread yet? Last year I bought online from BB, CUSA, Staples and others (Newegg, Creative). Anyone have insight on what will be available this? LAzy as it is a online BF make for some good shopping.:)

Mine didn't last year. I had to hurry and snatch what I wanted. Last yr it was a 19" LCD. I picked up some mem sticks and then grab the monitor. The store filled up pretty quickly so I didn't stick around. I did buy stuff online before going to store and returned later before the sale was over to pick up a few thing I missed.

I'm still going but not spending much this year. Maybe about a 1/4 of the amount I've spent in past years. The reason for spending less is less deals. Maybe the retailers will get that point if others are planning to do the same. The less we buy this BF the better the clearance selection will be in Jan. I'll get my deals in the end.:)

Some of the BB items will be available on line but last year they sold the door buster laptop and PC on line then canceled the orders. If you really have to have one then its best to wait it out in line.

I have never been to OM early but was at staples last yr about 45mins before it opened and was 5th in line. You maybe in for a lonely night. That can be good and bad since you'll be 1st in line but won't have the social interaction that makes the time go by.

Not camping, Not going very early this year either. Sears maybe my first stop (so far) and nothing there is worth camping for. I may camp out for the PS3 release this week but that has a profit margin to make it worth my time.

Place saving = Line cutting. Both are wrong IMO and I will defend my position in the line if need be.

I think workers should be able to buy some of the items. It would have to be limited, maybe 5-10% of the total door buster items. 90% would still be left for the masses and the workers could get some xmas bargains also.

I think the best buy is the 42" for a grand.:) The 32" price will soon be the norm and if you have satellite or digital cable you probably won't ever use the HD tuner. The HD tuner is for your local network OTA channels and you need an antenna . I my area that would mean ABC, NBC, CBS and one independent.

CUSA and Fry's are good for pc parts on BF but most of the office/electronic stores will have some items. You can read the past yrs ads right here on the GD site.

I bought some last year and don't remember creating any coasters. Worked as well as any I've used. That rebate is pretty hefty so I probably won't buy them this year.

I have never heard of amazon doing anything special for BF but there are deals year around to be had on amazon. Keep an eye on the hot deals forum here on GD.

Instead of selling PS3/Wiis on ebay for extra xmas cash, just go to walmart fall down and sue them after you get trampled.

Never bought anything from them in the past. Never saw any real deals. Mine converted to a F.Y.E. and I've bought some deals from them online. So for me they won't be missed.
