Shipping for the 6 ornaments is $28.90. Shipping is high, even with the free credit items. I usually try to order when they are offering something at a set price shipped, like the dog tags because it is cheaper.

Walmart.com has some bundle deals right now as well as some games 2 for $30.

Have you checked Michaels or Joanns? Make sure you use the coupon that comes in the Sunday paper for 40% off. Sometimes, they offer 50% around the holidays.

We had to have our dog (14yrs) put to sleep on Halloween when my dd was in the 2nd grade, so she was too upset to go that year and she hasn't wanted to go since (now 4th grade). My ds stopped going when he was in the 4th grade, he would rather play video games. Our neighbors daughter is in the 11th grade and she still goes.

I am a sahm, and my husband is the nurse manager, so he gets the day off because it is a paid holiday and he is salary. He hated doing this schedule because he couldn't let everyone have the day off that wanted it.

My ds either comes home from or has to leave to go to my ex's on Christmas Day at 1p.m. So, on the year he leaves Christmas day, we have always opened presents the weekend before so we can see him enjoy his gifts. The year we pick him up on Christmas, we open gifts as soon as we get home. Either time, we have the same routine I take pictures while my dh hands out the gifts. Once the piles are made, ds & dd open at the same time. We always make sure they open their "big" gift at different times, so I can get pictures. Our 4 legged babies also open their gifts at this time too. Then, after they are finished my dh and I open our gifts.

My son (14) still loves his Xbox 360 and he has had it since it first came out. He did ask for a PS3 for Christmas, but he only asked for 2 games to go with it and all the other games he asked for is for the Xbox 360.

I never had a stocking when I was growing up either. I have always done stockings for my family and our dogs. As the kids are getting older they keep getting more expensive, but I love filling them on Christmas Eve.

I would wait on the big sets, because someone usually has them on sale. But, you can't beat the price on Hasbro's $3.99 pets with the 20% off and free shipping. The pets have gone up in the stores between $5 & $6 with the series pets (mod & punkiest) costing even more.
