It's worth noting that the bolded recommendation is actually not possible with this laptop. While the datasheet shown on walmart.com states that the laptop has 2 memory slots, there is actually only 1 slot. So, to get to 4 Gig, you will need to purchase a single 4 gig stick and replace the 2 gig. Note that originally HP's website also stated that there were 2 slots, but after numerous complaints from people attempting to upgrade their RAM, they changed the webpage to state "1 slot" and claimed that the previous value was a typo.
