  1. Why wouldn't they mark them back up? Any other store that has a sale that runs through a specific date or time raises their prices when the sale is over.

These were sale prices that were good for a specific time and if people wanted them at the sale price they should've got to the store during the sale time.

I'm just confused why people think Walmart owes it to us to keep their sale prices. If that is the case, I really want more of that fabric that Joann's had a few weeks ago on sale and I only want it at the Black Friday price I paid that day.

I agree ~ I was really excited when I found some of the black friday things still at black friday prices after the sale was over. I didn't expect it.

  2. Yesterday morning stopped into Walmart - they had an entire pallet of the $78 blu-ray players, a bunch of the mens and womens $9 tracksuits. A ton of the $7 dollar coats for everyone, mens, womens and kids. They still had a few of the $3.00 girls tracksuits. A bunch of their black friday tv's left. The only things that I had noticed they raised the price back up on the corelle dishes and the footballs.. other than that, everything else was still the black friday price.
  3. My DS 10 is asking for a trip to Washington DC, trip to NYC, 4 tickets to the zoo, 4 tickets to an indoor water park, sloppy joes and lots of hot chocolate.. lol ohh... and the best one, I almost forgot, he asked for his sister 9, to be more playful. (she never wants to play swords or light sabers with him).
  4. I also have a hard time this time of the year. My mom died back in 2000, she was 51 - I was 21. We always had big holidays with extended family and such. Now, fast foward to the present, I still miss her especially during the Holidays, and now Holidays are not spent with any extended family - my Dad spends his holidays with this girlfriend and her family... so that leaves just me, my hubby and our two kids. Sort of depressing.
  5. map at my stores were not pulling up this morning... they are up now. -- I can now see which store I am going to skip -- the cheap tv and the cheap laptop are both located right next to the toy section.... seems like a disaster waiting to happen.
  6. I never see anything on BF that I just have to get or that is super jaw dropping to me. I usually seem to find the ads that I have a few things interested in, I walk around those stores, if they have my items, good, if not... well, I figure that just gives me more $$ for another purchase elsewhere. I don't go too awfully crazy. I like to watch people fight over their items, and I just step back and people watch while getting a few items along the way... To me, its the thrill of watching people and getting a few deals along the way. :)
  7. you know, the more I think about this, actually the more it ticks me off. I think that maybe Im just done talking to people in general. You never know if what you are going to say, no matter how innocent it is, is going to be blown into some stupid proportions. I don't even think that it is people being too sensitive. I think its more about people wanting to complain and get others in trouble. People want to be victims. I just don't get it.
  8. Im not seeing anything in this ad that would make me one to stand in their checkout lanes that day. ~ Shewww they wrap around the store. Kohls usually has good deals throughout the year and the Christmas season... if there is something I want, I'll probably find it later at Kohls for the same price. Or maybe I will just do the online thing. I'll have to see if they provide any descent coupons with the doorbusters...

    Thanks Brad for posting. :)

  9. I noticed that our Walmart lately will mark things up and then say its on clearance and charge the regular price. Like if something was sold for $8.00 - they will put up a clearance sign, saying it was $10 and they are selling it for $8, I just don't get it.

On another note, they had kids fleece lined clogs on Clearance for just 1 dollar -- this was at the Mt. Vernon, OH Walmart -- they had mostly toddler sizes, a few left for older kids.
