  1. Buying online tonight... Is it wise to have items waiting in my cart ready to go? Or will they not get updated or will they be automatically removed?
  2. yeah just went back in my browser to when I was looking at my shopping bag and it went perfectly fine! otherwise I would still be waiting to get in! Best thing is it is only 10:41 in CA and I am on Vacation so SORRY everyone!
  3. does it really hurt to refresh? does it place me further back in line to get in? Is the site automatically refreshing for me?
  4. Thanks for clarifying my fears. I have heard for years that they will not do price adjustments for BF, but I have always been able to do it. For those of you saying that it isn't fair, WHY NOT? Everyone had the same opportunity--no one said you were excluded from taking advantage of price adjustments. I will call the store for clarification and I will probably be shopping online this year! I cannot stand those crowds!
  5. Wow, I am getting nervous about my usual Wednesday shopping trip because I cannot find the "price adjustment" policy online. Is it gone? If you see it, post a link. I know if I ask in the store, they will discourage me from doing it. An employee gave me a funny look today when I showed him the BF ad on my phone and he told me that those prices were unreliable. Whatever. So I know they are told to discourage BF shopping before BF. But I really want to do it as I had in the years in the past but I am scared when I can't find the old policy posted online!
  6. A Microsoft Webcam. I didn't even want it, but for a dollar, I tried! Couldn't click fast enough, I guess!
  7. Thanks for the code, I can't wait to try these out! I am pregnant, and some of the restaurants I have been craving were on restaurant.com!! YUM!
  8. The price adjustment policy is usually posted on the wall right next to customer service. It states the same as the website--that they WILL do the adjustment for black friday. You shouldn't even have to print it out. I have done it for a few years now and it works beautifully! The people working there could care less and just do the price adjustment as they would any other day of the year. Sometimes the employees even congratulate me on all the money I saved! If you wait until Wednesday night, you might find the items you are looking for easier, as they put them out in clear view. But just going down the toy isle last week, I saw stacks and stacks of the BF toys above the shelves, so it is kinda obvious what will be on sale!
  9. I was just checking out the Target ad for tomorrow and they have an Acer Netbook for $199. That is a pretty good price!
  10. I am looking forward to reading the ads ahead of time, shopping on Wednesday, then getting price adjustments on everything on Friday!
  11. Does anyone have a strategy as to which target to hit for the clearance stuff? I have MANY Targets in town, some in nicer parts of town, some in the ghetto. Which do you think would have more stuff left? Today I scored a Wow Wow Wubbzy plush bath toy regular $12.99 down to $3.24. This had jumped from 30% to 75%. I also got a Learning Curve take along car featuring Sesame Street figures for $1.2# regularly $5.99 I think. I wanted to do early Christmas shopping but couldn't bring myself to it. I was tempted to get the Tony Hawk skate ramp regular $19.99 down to $5.
  12. I found some great deals on EASTER stuff, still! I found various toys that were misplaced back into the toy department never got salvaged (donated to salvation army, etc.). They were last maked at 90% off, but now when you scan them, they come up $0.00 or "not found in system." If you talk to the right person, they will give you the 90% off price. I have done this twice, but there were MANY other toys misplaced there that I could have bought. These toys include the easter hotwheels colorchangers set, the tonka funwheels?, and various little "take-along" cars featuring characters from Dora and Diego, Sesame street and Spongbob, etc. I found most of these in the toy department near where the small children toys are, near where the Wonderpets and Yo Gabba Gabba toys are. They have little bins there with smaller toys and these easter left-overs were mixed in there. They might not look to much like Easter toys, so scan them to check if they show up in the system. Good luck!
  13. These are my new favorite bras, a much better value compared to my old brand (Victoria Secret). I get the Optimum Body, full coverage bras. They are really comfortable and look great. They fit well; the back doesn't slide up on you, if you know what I mean. And they give a great lift without a ridiculous amount of padding. Actually, all of the Ambrielle bras are very good. Thanks for the deal. I made two separate orders and saved a little extra by having them shipped to the store ($7.01 each--final price). You only save about a dollar, but I don't mind going to the store, so its ok.
  14. Worked for me, paid $5.99 plus tax, came out to be $6.xx. I just got the classic calendar.

    Return Policy

Hi again: I thought I'd give it another try today, thinking maybe the rules were relaxed after Christmas. I should have read your posts and not even bothered. Of course, they stuck with the policy. That's fine if that's their policy, too bad it's not my relative's policy to attach gift receipts!! People were advising about the credit card look-up, but that doesn't help me out with a gift. I will have to re-gift the toy for a birthday or donate it. But this whole experience has caused my husband and I to vow to never shop at TRU again. The store is overpriced, a filthy mess, and has horrible customer service. The last four times I've been there, I have walked out empty-handed and pissed!! The long lines and lack of customer service are unforgivable. Congrats to the above poster about getting Fisher Price to pick up TRU's slack. I will definately purchase Fisher Price in the future, but never again from TRU. And my son is only 3, so I have many more years of toys ahead of me. I will stick to Target and Wal-Mart. I urge others who have been burned by TRU to do the same! Finally, I was thinking about all those survey invitations I used to get on receipts and wishing I could complete one now. Of course, I could only be invited for a survey if I actually purchased something, which I did not. Isnt' it convenient how the people who experience such poor customer service that they walk out empty handed cannot be surveyed? As somewhat of a statistician, the validity of their survey bothers me. Yes, I know I could call the 1-800 number but I really don't care to argue with anyone about it anymore. I just want them to know that they have lost my business.

    Return Policy

I went to return an early Christmas gift last weekend and they informed me of their return policy: No receipt, no return--not even store credit. I thought this was ridiculous because the item I was returning said "toysrus" right on the packaging, so I had no chance of taking it back to walmart, for example. The lady told me that I should ask the gift-giver for a gift receipt, but that person lives out of town and there is no way I am going to ask for a receipt to return their gift, that is so rude. My son already owned the toy, we really didn't need two. I just want to give people a heads-up that you have better attach those gift receipts to your toys from TRU. Does anyone know if the policy somehow becomes more lenient on Dec. 26? I don't know how they can turn back so many people that day. Needless to say, I was very dissappointed with my TRU experience and marched right out the store and spent $150 at Target. As if that will somehow "show them!"
  17. I actually know what I need, but I am still not sure what office depot is offerring for sale becauase the ad scan is so poor. Does anyone know if it is the DIMM or SODIMM memory for sale?
  18. Does anyone know about the memory for sale? I think it is the right kind for me, but I am not sure if it is for a desktop or laptop? Or maybe both types are on sale? I don't know much about memory, but the numbers match up to what I need....
  19. Hi, I have seen our Christmas decorations on clearance for 30% off, but I want to hold out for more. Does anyone know the schedule? I am hoping it will be by Saturday, so I can buy a lighted reindeer for a christmas gift. Let me know...
  20. So you work there? What is the policy on price adjustments on BF? I saw Kohl's website where it talks about the policy, but I just want to make sure I will be able to do it on BF morning (if I go shopping there tonight). Is there fine print somewhere that says they will not adjust pricing on BF, or will the customer service counters be closed? What should I expect?
  21. This is my first post on gottadeal. I just had to say thanks for finding and sharing your deals! This site has already helped me with about four Christmas gifts that I wouldn't have even thought of (for those people who you know are hard to shop for!) Not to mention all the BF listings that have got my mind prepared for all the rest of the Xmas shopping I have ahead of me! THANKS!
  22. Costco opens at 9 am, so you can hit other stores first or sleep in. That deal on the Vizio for $999 is awsome, but if you check out BestBuy's ad, they have a comparible deal on a Panasonic. The Vizio coupon is the only one valid on Friday only, the others are for the whole weekend. I am afraid they will sell out quick.
