  1. I had something similar happen to me today that happened to KC-Traderbear. I got to the store around 8:30am and discovered the holiday stuff was 90% off (Greenwich Twp, NJ). There were only 10 people or so looking through the aisles. Lots of room to explore. There were 6 full aisles of stuff and the workers were bringing pallets out from the back. Most of the pallet items were the red-box men's gift items. I've never seen such a thing. It was like Christmas all over again. As the workers were opening boxes a few of us were standing there waiting to see what was in the boxes. The items didn't even make it to the shelves, they went right into carts. Here is a list of my bargains (totaling $45).

3 deluxe car trunk organizers $1 ea

3 sets of car cargo cubes $1 ea

2 automatic shoeshine kits $1 ea

    1 set blendy pens .59

    1 reading light .50

    1 wireless rain gauge $2

2 electric coin sorter banks $1 ea

    1 glovebox umbrella .50

2 Meguiars car wax kits $2.99 ea

3 Red cookie scoops .19 ea

    2 Cranium Pop 2 $2.49 ea

4 sets of plastic juice cups (6 cups in ea) .19 ea

6 sets of plastic cereal bowls (6 bowls in ea) .19 ea

3 sets of gift boxes .19 ea

2 toddler holiday tees .50 ea

2 pack maybelline great lash (in silver box) .49

    1 Cars ornament .69

2 Dora ornament sets .69 ea

    1 metal teacher ornament $1.49

1 metal breast cancer ornament $1.49

3 outdoor digital timers $1.49 ea

    3 scotch cutters .49 ea

Also grabbed suction cups, wrapping paper, ribbon, gift boxes, ornament hooks - all approx. .19 ea and silver box makeup kits at .19 ea

Definitely a great day to have off from work. I'm so lucky I was able to be at the store shortly after they opened. Good luck to everyone else out there waiting for 90%!

  2. I made a visit to PacSun yesterday and was surprised to see an additional 70% discount on already clearance-priced items. For less than $25, I got a Roxy tee, Roxy sweats, Billabong tee, 2 Roxy handbags, and a Billabong handbag. For anyone who is into (or has kids who are into) surf-brand clothing and accessories, you might want to check it out.
  3. Thanks to the OP for this. I would have never gone to Sears otherwise. This is a really great clearance sale, although you do have to have some time to look through the racks! For under $50, I managed to get 2 skirts, a dress blazer, a sweater, and 6 blouses. The blazer alone with more than this full-price.
  4. I arrived at my closest Target just as they finished clearing out the V-day isle into 2 shopping carts. I scanned a couple of items from the carts (V-day Choxie bars, V-day socks), but they were coming up full price. Interesting? I did manage to finally get the Back to Basics cocoa machine for $4.98, the Illustory for $4.98, and Sesame Illustory for $5.48. They were priced at $9.99 and $10.xx for sooo long. I also walked away with $11 in coupon savings between 4 free choxie bars and manufacturer coupons applied toward clearance hair and moisturizer products. Still can't get the auto car starters any cheaper than 50% off. I'll keep checking on those. Thanks to everyone for your tips!
  5. I'm a first-time poster, but a long-time lurker. Thank you everyone for the info on this thread. I'm truly addicted and never knew Target was such a fun place to shop! Last night, I finally scored on some of the deals you've been talking about. I found the Eddie Bauer outdoor screenhouse for $24.98 it was still marked $66.xx. I found 2 of the AirHog Vectrons on the regular shelf but scanned $3.xx. I found one of those Colorwonder kits (Nemo) on the shelf with all of the full-price versions but scanned $3.74. I found a DVD Mad Gab Mania game adult game sitting on an endcap in toys. It had no clearance sticker and scanned at $0.00. I ended up getting it for $3.99. Also grabbed one of those Roseart Art-o-Rama sets for $2.48, the Rubbermaid wrap and craft for $1.98, a pair of ladies ski gloves for $3.24 and a pair of little girls shoes for $3.24. All-in-all not a bad trip. They had several of the elephant and shark kids tents for $6.xx and 3 different electronic dartboards marked 75% off, but I couldn't think of anyone who needed those. They also had one of the red wine fridges. It scanned $0.00, but I really didn't need it, so I left it for someone else to find. By the way, I'm in central/eastern Jersey.
