  6. Wow! I'm surprised that there at not many posts on this thread. Could it be that people are have left GD and are now on other boards? GD was one of the first boards I read several times per day. I must admit, I have not been on here in a long time. To bring some life here, this is my recent shopping trip to WaWags worked out so well for me today. They finally stocked up on Emergen-C and only had a few Robitussin 2 Go. I spent a total of 12.91 OOP and got back 32.00 in RR's I used the following Q's (2) Zantac $5 IP's 1-Halls .35 3-Trident B1G1 Q's 2-Ricola B1G1 Q's 2-$1/1 Oral B 3-Thereaflu Q's @ $2, $2 & 1.50 Wags Q' for .50 off Halls, In ad Q's for $2 off Theraful & 2/$3 Ricola -Various values of RR's
  7. Its has been long time since I visited GD :) I just wanted to point out that CVS no longer accepts more than (1) xx/xx CVS coupon(as per the wording on the Q). For example, if you have a 5/25 you cannot use a 4/20, 3/15 any more . This has been going on for over a year now.
  8. I have several of the Sally Hanson NP coupons and the cashier adjusted the coupon down to 2.79 to make it free. No overage for. Free is all good!
  9. You should contact them. It has been reported on other boards that they had a problem with their system. They will fix it for you:yup:
  10. That is true. The offers do state the quantity of offers per items in their ad per household. Its always clear to me. For example, this week I brough, Soft and Beautiful, Glade Trash Bags and Pert. The tage on the shelf said limit of one offer. Used 3.00 off Pert and 6.00 Rebate check, paid 6.93 getting back 10.99 in Rebates!. That works for me.
  11. I picked up for 4 at Shoppers Food Warehouse, price was $3.87 coupon beeped and head cashier came over and put them through manually.
  12. If anyone has Food Lion in their region, these will be on sale for $1.97 and their is a $1 off coupon on their site. FL is having a 48HR. sale of specific products at the front of their circular. www.foodlion.com
  13. Thank You! The cashiers at both stores were amazed!
  14. I went on Sunday and got 4 lotions and the cashier scanned them all and they did not beep. Went yesterday and got the Elements, coupons beeped cashier put them through and I did not have to pay for the first item just the sales tax.
  15. RiteAid has St. Ives on B1G1 this week. If you have the coupon that came out two weeks ago in Smart Source, you can get them for FREE and only pay the tax. I got 14 products for $2.74!
  16. I also work full-time and cannot wait to see the sales for the up coming week. I turned couponing into my hobby. Yes, it is very time consuming but the benefits of getting things for at low cost is definately worth it. People often ask me how do I find the time. Sometimes I'm so whipped out from work, coming home preparing dinner and getting ready for the next day I wonder sometimes how I do it all as well. I told them it only takes 20 minutes to eat lunch (if brought from home) and use the other part to clip coupons and surf the web for sales.
  17. I agree with with Freesia as well. I do not need to pay someone to tell me when to use a coupon to get good deals. I search online and the Sunday paper for the best deals. DH brings home lots of coupons on Sunday from work and I get them from my job well. I personally must say that I have mastered my own plan. Stockpile on items I can get close to nothing Buy meats at the grocery store that are marked down (I usually wash and season them vaccum seal) Take advantage of triple sales and double coupons up to .99 cents. Lately, I have ventured to Riteaide, they built a new one by job and its convenient to get to and I usually find everything I want and use coupons for every single item in my basket. Last trip to Riteaid I got Godiva Dark Chocolate covered Almonds for .49 a bag, 4 packs of Trident gum for $1.00, 4 packs of tic tacs for $1.00 just to name a few. I'm a stickler for coupons and I honestly think we can teach couponmom a few tricks! I saw her on TV just this week and she purchased $180 worth of groceries for $78. She did well but I have heard better. Still have much respect for what she does and tries to people. achieve, groceries for a fraction of the cost. Alot of us have one her are not new to couponing.
  18. Someone just told me about the closing this afternoon. Great deals coming but alot of people will loose their jobs.
  19. Thanks! This is will come in handy when I go to the movies next Sunday.
  20. I saw reference to this situation on the news last night. They mentioned that alot of retailers are feeling the econmic crunch and are going bankrupt and are not honoring their own store gift cards. There are 75 Million dollars in unused giftcards out there that cannot be redeemed. Some type of reform needs to be implimented to not allow this to happen. They are banking away on those unused cards which is an unfair practice to the consumer.
  21. If you want to purchase out-dated magazine check your local library to see when they are having a booksale. Most libraries archive magazine for references purposes and extra copies are sometimes retained to sell at book sales.
  22. The price of glass of soda is soooooo sickening to me. The prices are wayyyyyyyy over board and agree with alot the opinion I read about on here. When I got for lunch I drink water with no lemon since hearing about the bacteria the is found on the rind. I save $2.50+ and the carbs..
  23. This is most definatley the best deal I have ever heard of! Congratulation on your find:)
  24. If anyone has a RiteAid in their area there are some good deals to get with coupons and no rebates. This morning I snagged 2 pk of Wrigley's Gum for $1.00, 4 Arrid XX for $1.88, Lady Speed stick for $.94!
