i've found a hotel i'd like to book, but priceline won't let you pursue individual hotels and i haven't found any real decent rates. does anybody call up reservations and haggle with them? the date of the hotel is over 6 months away

OK--you're scaring me. Do you have everybody's addresses already? I do not, so I'm worried. Are you just talking about your address? I sure hope so...
I believe the comment was in anticipation of writing all those cards, its a long list, to say the very least its daunting, but I'm up for it.
On another note, I haven't seen anything on the addresses yet either, but be patient, its going to be alot to compile for one person, so Eve, a big Thank you in advance. -
ugh, people have gone completly nuts. I was actually looking forward to bf, but after seeing the ads, well i am sorely disappointed and it doesn't matter when I see the ad, now, or tday if they suck, they suck and I will just not go there. So far I can get better deals out there at this point and time then their so called deals. It just means that I think I will cheat and just buy gc at whatever location isn't a bunch of whiny crybabies, maybe like Ace (lol)!

it used to be go to my step moms house, but since dad passed away, she decided it was more important to spend it with daughters that disowned them 20 years ago, so i guess maybe last minute shopping now and snuggling down with dh.

thats an easy one for me, he's a boozer so any alcohol is good then i save the pricey suggestion for his girlfriend or friends when they call up looking for ideas

fake. had a real one at the office one year at the bosses request, lets just say he wanted a real one the next he'd have to take care of it, lol we bought a fake one for there too lol

its a tradition here at my house to do day after thanksgiving, since usually by noon i'm home from my shopping adventure and too excited by my buys to get any sleep lol

definatly colored, white is just so bland, now the question remains.... multi colored or one solid color. i've found purple or blue on some trees look nice, but i've always gone multi

just move, if you dwell on it, ya might punch someone out for being rude (but thats like that everyday at my wm), but unforunatly alot of people here forget their manners on that day. focus on the item your getting let it be your mantra and that nice long nap you'll take when you get home

Be glad you no longer have Allstate. They are one of the WORST. If I had to name the 3 worst companies to deal with, they'd definitely be in the running for first place!
and one of the worst ones to get a claim from, the guy that hit me head on was from there i swear that took forever, the accident with the state farm driver paid off in a few days, i was shocked!! but have had lousy cs from them when i had them long time ago

let me tell you from my own experiance, that i have had the el cheapo insurance companies on up to allstate and right now i have geico for the past 7 years. i love them, no hassles what so ever and i have had 2 accidents in the last 2 years (side note, why does people insist on driving on the wrong side of the road, but i digress) insurance rates go up as you know when its your fault or you claim on your insurance, make sure the other company pays if your not at fault, but otherwise geico is inexpensive and customer friendly.

imho i wouldn't really recommend vista, there isn't much new to really offer cept different gui and its inability to work with other programs. also mcafee and norton are both memory hogs. theres a few other decent antivirus progs out there that does the trip better. personally use avg

i've been fortunate with southwest, specially if you dl the ding thing they got rt i was able to get chicago to nashville for $100
