  1. My favorite thing about Black Friday is all the fun I have had shopping with my mom, my sisters and my cousins over the last 17 years......
  2. If this ad is what WM was ranting and raving about-they should be ashamed of themselves. The first year WM will NOT be on my list on BF.
  3. For me, 2004-2006 were the best ever......... This year so far, not so much....
  4. Honestly, this is the first time in my 13 years of BF shopping that I have not had to worry about enough money to spend-and not because I just won the lottery!! I have never been so disappointed in the quailty of BF ads in my life. Target ought to be ashamed of themselves-they are usually our first stop! Mistreatment of Brad and this site aside, there might be 2 things I want in their ad-last year and years prior there were tons!! For all the sword waving, you'd think they would be trying to hide some killer deals...Every ad is lacking this year-even BB and CC haven't whet my appetite.... Nothing like big business trying to make life a little harder for us little folk in this less than stellar economy....I hope it's worth it....
  5. Very good, Brad. You have to wonder about people that have nothing better to do than be a jerk.........ONWARD OUR MISSION!!! :gdenough:
  6. I am just one person. And so is my mom. And my dad. And each of my two sisters. All avid WM shoppers who can't wait for the SuperTarget to open next spring just blocks way from us....WE CANNOT WAIT!!! I am sorely disappointed in WM. I can't imagine their rationale (trade secrets on $3.44 DVDs? Please.), as you'd think someone would get that this early ad release is the one way to whet the appetite of their customers who, BTW, have scores of other stores to choose from that day (especially that morning). Whatever they are keeping secret this year and certainly next, as far as I'm concerned, they can keep it.
  7. Me and mom always and then whoever feels like tagging along that year!
  8. Walmart or Target first-we never hit BB or CC or Fry's until after 8am-we can't fight worth a quarter!!
  9. My mom and I have been doing BF for 13 years with various people coming in and out once in a while, but she and I are the most consistent.
  10. Last year I spent $2000 (I bought Gateway laptop and Olympus dSLR). This year, depending on whether or not I buy a tv that day, $1000 to $1500.
  11. I think this person is just trying to start some controversy where there really is none. All of us of us who have joined or lingered here over the last few years know that Brad and the crew don't post fake anything, especially in regards to Black Friday. So this is, as always, a non-issue. Let's just let this go and get back to our REAL PLANNING!!
  12. ARRRRRRGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!! THE WAIT IS KILLING ME!!!!!! :eyepoppin
  13. It is still worth it, trust me. My mom and I are usually out until 8 or 9 pm shopping, and still grabbing great bargains. You should be fine. Like was said before, there are really great deals the entire weekend, so I know you'll find something that will make your trip worth it!! Good luck on your first BF!!!
  14. Any and all seasons: Boston Legal Friends (seasons 8, 9 and 10) Perry Mason Las Vegas CSI Miami
  15. My mom and I will usually venture out that Saturday. That day we usually hit the mall harder. We are caught up in the FEVER all weekend!!
  16. I know Macy's will markdown older Coach merchandise all year, but it goes (understandably) very fast. I don't believe it does anything special for BF regarding Coach, but it's worth a look if you have a dept store in your area that carries the brand. It's true that regular Coach stores markdown NOTHING-nor have I ever noticed the website having discounted merchandise.
  17. We leave the house about 4:15-4:30am......
  18. A REALLY DECENT!! GPS device less than 400.00 for my dad... (A girl can dream, can't she??? )
  19. I've never went alone, but I absolutely would!! Shopping that day is like no other!!!
  20. Indianapolis, Indiana-WOOHOO!! :)
  21. My mom and I are DIE-HARD BF shoppers, so we start about 5am and finish about 6 or 7pm, but we have been out as late as 10:30 pm!! If my dad or my sisters go, they are usually done by noon, and my mom and I hit our favorite shop "Country Friends/Yield House" here in Indianapolis to pick up Xmas ornaments and such (anyone in Indianapolis area-THIS IS A GREAT STORE ALL YEAR ROUND!!) and then on to the mall for the rest of that day..... We would feel cheated if we went in any earlier than 5pm for sure......
  22. They can have it-I LOVE TO SHOP!!, But not enough to go to jail or the hospital....:)
