  1. Star Shower Outdoor Laser Christmas Lights, Star Projector https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0135OA3PO/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_kB5kwb88YYQSE I would love this for Christmas, what an easy set up.
  2. I wish that they wouldn't open on Thursday, it just takes something away from the whole "Black Friday" thing.
  3. 1. Bring a buddy, if for nothing else but to pass the time in line. 2. Leave the little ones at home, there is enough going on, no need to add to it with kids that don't want to be there. 3. Wear comfy clothes and shoes. 4. Happy Shopping Y'all
  4. My DH hates to shop, lucky me. I buy all my Christmas and just tell him what he bought me. He's excited, I'm excited. All is good.
  5. I just searched for the Wii in BF ads and the price shows 425.00 at Sams.....
  6. Somewhere wondering around the DFW area. Probably in line, trying/hoping/wanting to be one of the lucky few with a new laptop....
  7. I am sure that this has been mentioned, but here goes: 1> Tickets for items are a good thing, that way no one gets injured trying to get a certain item. 2> Make sure the staff knows where the items in the sale ad are, we asked last year several times and was sent to the back of the store, when the item was up front behind the counter and by then the line was too long to stand in because they only had a few items to sale. (STAPLES) 3> Make sure there are 2 people at each register, one to ring it up, one to sack it or whatever else they need to do with it to make the line move faster. 4> Have an afternoon DOOR BUSTER, and make sure the product is saved until then for individuals that had to spend most of the morning in one line. 5> Security to roam the parking lots of known busy places/hot spots, just to make the individuals that have to be out there alone feel a little safer. Thanks Brad for keeping me going during BF/ GD is GREAT!!!!
  8. wow, this rocks, thanks bunches. I just got three suits and a cover up for 29.00 shipped. wahoooooooooo
  9. Let's see...BF and I went to bed at 10pm on Thursday, got up at 2, no 2:08, nooo it was 2:16. Left the house at 3:10 and hit the local Whataburger for some caffeine and burritos. The silly boy in line said how was your night, we told him we were just getting started, he laughed. Stood in line at Staples (40 miles from the house), was about 15th in line and got what I went after, Navigon 2100...(thanks MARCSTER for your detailed info). Left and went to Sears, BF got tools for DH. Went to CC for a couple of games, Mario Wii game was there but the PC game wasn't..oh well. Went to Bath and Body, got some wallflowers smellums;) and went on our merry way. Finally stopped at Starbucks for some energy:tired:, then went on to Old Navy, got a couple of $8 sweaters. Went across the way to Kohl's and almost fainted at the long line....shopped for a while got some really good deals, they extended the doorbuster prices through 2:30 WAHOO!!!! Then went to Target, got some cheap DVD's and went home. We were out for 15 hours, needless to say, we were very tired and slept most of Saturday. All in all was a great shopping day, thanks GD...you made it easy.
  10. That is a "sweet" Christmas present. i would skip all kinds of shopping for that one. Congratz!!!
  11. I had made up my mind to go ahead and put it off for one more year to see if the price would go down any...then I saw the Kohl's ad.....they have a two pack (or at least that is what it says) for 59.00.....now I can have one and give one away....Guess I won't be waiting after all.
