No, this is only be available at your local Micro Center B&M

The day after Christmas, Tuesday December 26, 2006 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM.

Yes but the lines probably won't be as long as BF since this hasn't received a lot of media attention and Micro Center doesn't have stores nationwide.
- What time should I get in line?
That's up to you and how badly you want this, what if you arrive at 4AM and there's already 40 people in line?

There are only 10 laptops allocated per store.

No. The only catch is you should get there early and the $50 mail in rebate, that's it.
- Where can I find the complete specifications?
The closest I could find was this.
Thanks to ActuaryTm for originally posting this in the laptop for under $400 thread

Yes you do. I've used it about a dozen times and haven't had any problems.

Hi,
We paid $843.20 shipped. Now I see I need Microsoft Word and I need to buy a wireless router.
Dell sells the router for $45.95-$10 mail in rebate. I just hope he bought the right laptop for the high school senior.
Do you have an e-mail with the complete specifications? If you do can you copy/paste it here?
Depending on the other components, you got a luke warm deal.
Here's what I would have done:
1) Buy this laptop for $649.
2) Add Microsoft Works Suite 2006- Includes MICROSOFT WORD plus much more! [add $79] or buy Microsoft Office Students 2003 for $149
3) Linksys WiFi router for $49.99 AR with free shipping
4) Printers are cheap you can buy them for $29 - $89.
$777.99 with free shipping includes laptop, Microsoft Word and wireless router :)

You can still order polar white for $129.99 but it won't be in stock until January 4, 2007.I missed it. Anyone know where else to find them?

What do you consider "dirt cheap"?
Any particular reason why you don't want SD media?
-
Do you need this before Christmas? Dell has a great deal on a desktop with flat panel LCD for $499 but won't arrive by Christmas.
Do you have a Micro Center near you?
