Not that good. I have seen brand new Dell Dimension 3000 with 256MB, 80GB, CD-RW, 17" CRT monitor for $349 after rebate with free shipping. RAM is cheap and easy to install. You can buy 512MB for about $59 after rebate. If you are not in a hurry to buy a new PC and can wait 1-2 months then wait for another Dell deal.

CostCo allows you to submit rebates 100% online (nothing to mail in), rebate checks arrive 4 weeks later. If only more rebates were like that.

I've heard of people paying with MasterCard and getting that coupon to work.
