DEAD: Macy's 20% off printable coupon - "Friends & Family"
RossMAN replied to Brad's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Hi ckg1979, to the GottaDeal.com forums. I'm not sure if you noticed but this thread is nearly a year old, first post is dated 6/9/2004. You are welcome to create a new thread, I hope someone can help you locate this coupon. -
15 minutes to go until 12:40 PM PDT ... waiting and watching.

I think a free forum would be a good addition, most likely as a sub-forum. We'll wait for further input and see what Hot Deals Master Brad thinks.

Awesome the Axim X30 basic wireless is $156 after 25% off coupon.

Here's some excellent advice I found on another forum. If you upgrade to the 9 cell battery, choose instead of "upgrading" from 6 cell to 9 cell for an extra $99. For the difference of $30 you get TWO batteries, the original 6 cell plus your additional 9 cell. As ActuaryTm mentioned here is an excellent Inspiron 6000 FAQ courtesy of NotebookForums.com I opted for the upgrade to the better 15.4" WSXGA+ display which trust me is worth every last penny! After that $125 upgrade I would go for the battery or hard drive. Whichever you think you'll get more use out of. 40GB hard drive is perfect for me. I kept the standard 6 cell battery which should last around 3 hours on full power with WiFi on.

Order placed :) $1403 base + $125 WSXGA upgrade - $30 BigBucks coupon - $750 off $1499 coupon ======================================== $748 with 0% Oregon sales tax and free shipping! I considered getting the all-in-one for discounted price of $35 to resell on eBay until I saw the prices. The market is flooded with those models. I can sell the cheap "free" printer locally for around $35. Now I just have two upgrades left: Sell 256MB RAM and buy 512MB from NewEgg, ZZF or Crucial.com Maybe sell 6 cell battery and buy 9 cell battery

That would be awesome. I proposed something like $500 per $20,000 vehicle.

I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to shop around for a good auto loan rate. American Honda Finance approved us for 10.50% but I didn't care and signed the papers. 1 year later after making on time payments, we re-financed with a local credit union for only 3.99%. This was in 2003 on a 2002 vehcile, so it was still considered as a "new vehicle". I'm not sure how the Army CU works but I would see what rates they can offer you. Shop around for rates BEFORE going to the car dealership. As ActuaryTm said you should also consider the Honda Odyssey. The Toyota Sienna was recently redesigned and is the minivan to buy. Since you're looking at a 2 year old model, I would looker more at the Honda Odyssey. One of the best resources for auto buying is Edmunds.com Minivan buyer's guideTop 10 SUVs, Pickups and Minivans with the Worst Residual Value for 2005Top 10 SUVs, Pickups and Minivans with the Best Residual Value for 2005Top 10 Features Every Minivan Should HaveRead all of this :) http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drives/Comparos/articleId=101676

A few more questions: Are you a member or CostCo or Sam's Club? Do you have either of these warehouses near you?Are you a member of AAA?Do you belong to a credit union?

If you can find a copy of last weekends newspaper, are there any new auto ads in it? I'll try to locate ours and give you a rough idea of how much new Sienna's and Caravan's are selling for. These are LOSS LEADER prices, roughly $1000 - $3500 below MSRP.
