What's the difference between -R and +R ???
-
But these sure would make some nice cheap filler items.
-
They offer the best prices on brand name batteries when you factor in shipping, etc.

I hope you're using a surge protector for your electronics and computers.

Long Distance (domestic) calling card
RossMAN replied to akolozvary's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
There are generally two kinds of calling cards: Low 1.9 cents per minute BUT there is a connection fee of at least $0.25 If you know the other party will answer and plan on talking for a long time, then this is the best deal.It costs a little more but I would recommend OneSuite.com for domestic and international long distance. Before we got VOIP I would use OneSuite.com to make long distance calls. If you have cable internet and talk a lot on the phone consider signing up for VOIP such as SunRocket.com. SunRocket.com offers UNLIMITED calls within the USA and Canada for a low price and several standard features. -
Wait for an office type store to have this for $60 after rebates again, possibly stacking a $20 off $100 coupon :)

Jesse, you're absolutely correct. My most humble apologies from one Ferengi to another. -
Have you also considered Canon? When it comes time to refill your ink, you'll be in for a sticker shock with the Epson.
-
Good advice. Whenever you buy something with a rebate, right click on the rebate link and SAVE it to your hard drive.

The $30 rebate may have been pulled already, link isn't working for me. Does this link for you? Please copy/paste into your browsers URL bar: ak.buy.com/buy_assets/retail/pdfs/05Q2/0505-0531ml_15vkCF512.pdf

I think it would be a good idea to physically see a Fujitsu laptop in person before purchasing it. I'll do some digging for you over the next few days to attempt to find some retailers near Vancouver who sell those.

Please help me spec out a desktop for my sis

True but that doesn't include a comprehensive 4 year on site warranty. If they have basic needs I would go ahead and buy that Dell 2400 & 17" CRT. At least it's 4 years ON SITE warranty. Who knows, maybe in 3 years the PC will break and they'll uprade it to a newer model for free :) Since you're purchasing the monitor at the same time, the warranty should cover that as well. -

Ah ok in that case I would probably upgrade to a more comprehensive warranty like you mentioned. Is your sister or brother-in-law a college student? Do any of you qualify for Dell EPP (http://www.dell.com/epp)? -

If you're ok with waiting a few weeks to get a BETTER machine for LESS money, then I would wait. I've seen Dell Outrageous Deals with Dimension 3000 & 17" CRT for $349 after rebate. If your sister lives close, just get the standard 1 year warranty. Dell uses almost all standard hardware in their computers, so they are easy to replace. Remember to pay for it with your credit card which gives you another 1 year free warranty. -

I remember those days. Although the Samsung 955df was always highly recommended, I saw one and wasn't that impressed. I was always a Trinitron FD fanboy :)
