Luckily I was able to get the one item I needed from Kohls (a memory foam mattress cover for ds), online and then dd decided she wanted the $99 step2 playhouse for her kids around 4p.m. today. After a few calls and a roadtrip I actually got one at the Tru about 20 minutes away. It was a longshot and I was surprised I was able to get it.

Yep, I'm looking for a decent vcr. That's what I want for christmas. I have boxes of vcr tapes and I at least want to watch them one more time before I throw them away. I'd like to put them on a dvd but I need one that I can record parts of the vcr tape. (I have a few years of dance review and I don't want to record the whole, just my dd). Do they still make a decent vcr?

The absolutely only thing I was planning to go out for, Kohls has for a good price. The fullsize memory foam mattress pad for $49.99. I have purchased these in the past on black friday and it seems to be cheapest on that day. Now to find that 15% off coupon.

I may not even go out at all with these early times. Last year there were too many teens out and too many parents with kids.

I just started making a mental list. I picked up a few things for grandbabies. Waiting until the last minute for ds (17), he keeps changing his mind and what he wants is $$$$$. The hardest will be mil (84) and dh.

I was able to get several big bags of assorted tootsie roll candy for $.74 a bag. Now I'm gonna send to military overseas. I saw a article on tv last night and it got me thinking about when I see candy and misc. things on sale to send them to the troops.
