  1. Sad to say I have either bought or still have everything listed in this thread (except the dolls since I have all boys) and I agree with all of you! I remember hiding that Furby thing in the back corner of closet so it would shut up! Bendaroos, moon sand, carpet slidders, pixos, pokeman and yu-gi-oh cards and especially a puppy are on the Never Again List. I would also add any large nerf gun that comes out since they never work and any robotic dinasaur! :)
  2. my local 24hr walmart has the items wrapped on pallet in the main isles of the store. and at 5am when the sale starts the employees that guard the pallets rip them open when someone gives the ok over their walkie talkies. so you could actually be standing right next to the items you want and just grab them after they open them.

Our walmart does the same thing, except last year the employees actually had maps and told us where the items we were looking for were located. (The items are usually wrapped in black so you cannot see what is inside.) In the past they have never been this helpful!

  3. We bought a top of the line Duet (Whirlpool) washer this past July. I absolutely love it but I read reviews that said the drum can smell moldy. I have only noticed this once when the we went out of town for a couple of days. I have four active boys so I do laundry everyday. I agree, you should read reviews also measure before you buy! The front loader needs clearance so if you are in a tight space it may be problem. Good Luck!
  4. Also instead of autograph books you might want to look into buying a disney t-shirt from the Disney store and have the characters sign it. After collecting several autograph books we tried the shirt thing on our last trip and it worked great. Just take a sharpie. The kids love their shirts (even the 10 year old). We bought bigger sizes so they would grow into them. Some of them sleep in their shirts every night!
  5. You can go anywhere and look, find the best deal and go back to Sears. They should match the price with an additioanl 10% off. We are also building and will need new appliances. I spoke to Best Buy and they are willing to give an overall discount if we buy multiple appliances from them. Also Sears just had a deal last week for 20% off with no payments until 2010 (I think). They said they offer one big sale a month. Good Luck!
  6. Great day at Target. I snagged a huge foosball table for 42, baseball gloves for 3.64, baseball socks .98, CD holders 1.74 boys boxers 3.00, gloves .99, baseball hats 2.44. I missed out on the Tony Hawk skateboard PS2 - they were all gone. My target also had a lot of furniture at 75% off. Armoires, TV stands, cabinets etc. They had some mini-frigs marked down but only 30%. I am in Indiana.
