no i do not think it would have happened with a police officer at the door........ usually people will back up and listen to the officerand walmart does not want people to control themselves, they do not have people form orderly lines and employees do refer to it as "dreaded Blitz Day" they encourage the free for all- they make the situation

walmart is a breed of its own, yes the blame is on the customers, but walmart made the situationand hasn't this type of thing happened at other walmarts previously? AMEN Walmart does encourage it unlike other stores and with the economy the way it is/ the commercial stating to get there early to grab limited doorbusters only enhanced the situation yes it is sad that a store should hire security but i believe many stores have previously on black Friday because THEY KNOW THEY WILL NEED IT can not remember which one? sears? best buy? Walmart strives to bring in the most people AND sell at the cheapest "rolled" back price BUT at what cost is it not their fault? They can afford it and they already know what type of situation they are encouraging

well for most of us it is over. :DHow did you do????? We missed the mps player from old navy, missed the snow globes from jc penny, did not find a winter coat or boots i wanted(finding a coat and boots was the main reason we went out as the deals were not impressive to me), and even though we did each get the ornament from world market my cousin's friend dropped hers minutes after it was handed to her. We did find lots of $2 dvds at walmart and $9 Kung Fu Panda dvd :)

true it was walmarts fault for not taking adequate protection for its workers and customers. it is not like walmart was a nobody store that did not know better. The "rolled"back at the cost of security and that is unacceptable

i stayed up all night but i am going to go take a nap in a bit :)
