  1. Kohl's will price match. They have an option for price changes at the register that indicates "Match Competition" or some such phrase. As long as you have the advertisement and it is for that day the register operator does not have to call management. They can do it themselves. The cashier may ask to keep the advertisement to show the management team (just to cover themselves).
  2. Tazolover - only if you use a Kohls card can you use the 15% off bounce back coupon. As long as there is no name on the coupon you are good. If there is a name the cashier can and should refuse to take it, the coupons state that they are nontransferable. I have worked for Kohl's for several years now, they are getting a bit stiff on the fact that if the coupon says with Kohls card then you need to use the card. Some Kohl's management are more rigid on the rules then others. On BF when you look for the BF items, there are usually management and some FTimers located by the registers to direct "traffic" so you can ask them were things are located. You can tell if they can help better if you see an earpiece on them. We use walkie talkies to talk to each other. Each department has people with the 2way radios - they are supposed to use them all the time, not just on big sales days. So if there is a black thingy on their ear, grab them. Hope this helps!
  3. MVC - means most valuable customer. If you spend $600 on your Kohl's charge in the past year you get a mvc status. This gets you 6 extra discounts per years for a total of 18. The once a month scratch offs/mailings plus 6 extra when you want discounts. (Pretty sure that this is how it works with the 6 extra). You have to spend $600 each year to get the mvc status. What is nice is that if you pay 1/3 or 2/3 of the balance you don't get charged interest for that month. I don't have a Kohl's charge. I've been told enough about it from the register operators. You get 10% if you apply. BUT if you apply and you don't get the card you still get 10% off anyway just for applying.
  4. I have to say thank you for this tread. Because: I have been shopping at Target for several years now and have never really paid attention to where the clearance items were placed. That is, until I read this thread. I do cards for Target so I am in there twice a week. Today I had extra time and was able to walk around for a bit. While perimeter perusing I found a set of Jersey sheets marked down from $24.99 to $19.99 to $9.99 (I bought these same sheets at this price for DS3) and now $4.98 foar DS2!!! It was with the regular priced Jersey sheets! This was the last set of these sheets. They are extra long but who cares! I'll just tuck them under with the flat sheet and it'll be fine. Just had to share since I wouldn't have did the perimeter if it wasn't for this thread being on my mind.
  5. TSC has some great deals on jeans. Dh purchased a pair reg. price for $16.99. Very nice quality - not a name brand but who cares!
