Pass!! My kids got some of these a couple years ago. (Not the same model) But, low light - in the house, lights on the video was terrible! It was so slow you could not tell who was who. Get them a cheap digital P&S camera and they will get more out of that than these cheap video cameras!!!!

This is probably the best deal out! Great camera, good size and great specs. I have a Canon SLR and 2 P&S, all have been great. We are getting this camera in Pink for our 11yo daughter. Priced at $129 good buy!!

I got a couple picture screens from Compusa at the 9p.m. Thanksgiving deal and a couple 2gb SD cards as well, and picked up on the Wii deal from Amazon that was open for about 10 min. Still have to get a Wii for my buddy in the mornin, but my Xmas shoppin is almost done!!! Just need to get an LCD TV for the wife & myself.

I have been haveing problems with their site all morning!

It is basically there to save your info, so plug it in and DL items you want saved and then unplug it from your computer. I have to buy one this year because I am worried I will loose over 2000 songs and THOUSANDS of pictures that are saved to my hard drive. Those things I cant get back!

I wish there was a nice 32" this year but I think I am only going for the 500gb external hard drive at CC or target. I really need to backup my files, getting worried!!

I am not a big computer nerd and am looking for a good laptop myself. I will say go shopping for yourself BEFORE BF and take those specs with you. See what is out there, ask questions, see what everyone is offering and then you will have an idea if this is one that will work for you. You may need a little more, you may not. But go talk to someone and see, just reading all that doesnt mean anything until you know how it will work for you and the best way is to TALK to someone that knows!! Good luck, I am looking for one this year too, but the wifes surgery will put it back a little.

Not sure all the specs but look at the Dell deals with $$ off codes and see what compares. You may get something a lot better for not much more $ without having to spend all night in line. Seems to me that for the savings in a laptop it is not worth spending the night freezing on a sidewalk.

Buy the speakers seperate! You will get much better sound and it is easier to upgrade later. I spent over $2k on my receiver but if I knew what I knew now I would have waited a year for the same components to become available in a $600 unit. Overall without the TV I think I have around$7k invested in home theater. By waiting a year I could have saved EASY $2k, and $4k was on speakers which dont go down like stereo components do!
