When the CC website came up late Wed night/Thurs morning, I looked for the 399 laptop- oh joy! Available over the phone only it said.
I called and placed my order, but the non-native English speaker was not able to get a confirmation order to come up for me. He said it should arrive by email within 24-48 hours. The next day, I got a call from CC customer service asking if I had placed this order- I said "yes, can I have a confirmation number now, please?" I got the same answer- 24-48 hours via email.
Now, today, I finally get an email from CC saying that although my card had been charged, my order had been cancelled and I could expect a bank refund within- you guessed it, 24-48 hours. Oh the irony. Is there anything I can do to get my laptop back? I quit shopping after I placed this order- had I known my order wasn't good I would have shopped elsewhere
