That price on the 1GB stinks. I bought a 2GB Kingston SD card on BF for $9.99.

Next year, we'll see 4GB flash drives and media cards (for cameras) for $9.99 - $11.99.

That is directly dependent on whether the computer manufacturer decided to use two 512mb RAM chips or one 1GB RAM chip. 90% of manufacturers will use the two 512mb chips.

Yeah, it's not instantaneous... As I recall, it's a routine that runs on the server every so often throughout the day, then access is granted.
