  1. You may have not heard of them before but Meritline.com uses Yahoo business for their checkout -- Yahoo has rules for their sellers, no funny-business.... Also, PQI is best known for manufacturing computer RAM. http://i26.tinypic.com/24g0x8j.jpg PQI 4GB SDHC Secure Digital High Capacity Class 6, Model AE71-4030-0101, Free Standard Shipping! Class 6! Fast Data Transfer Rate! $16.49 Free STANDARD Shipping to USA http://www.meritline.com/pqi-4gb-sdhc-card-class-6.html EDIT ON 4/2: They also have a PQI 8GB SDHC Secure Digital High Capacity Class 6, Model AE71-4030-0101, Free Standard Shipping! Class 6! Fast Data Transfer Rate! $30.99 Free STANDARD Shipping to USA http://www.meritline.com/pqi-8gb-sdhc-card-class-6.html Only need 2GB? How about $9.49 shipped? (still high speed!): http://www.meritline.com/pqi-2gb-60x-sd-card.html
  2. Depending on what you want to buy, you may be better off just joining (or going with someone who is a member). A person who uses the one-day pass pays a 10% penalty on the regular prices.
  3. Converse retail stores have the best prices. http://www.converse.com/zfindpop.asp I just bought 3 pairs for $14.99 each, hightops or lowtops. I also got a Converse T-shirt for $4.99.
  4. Correct, actually when you play your regular DVDs they will appear better onscreen. That's that "upconverting" that neile457 mentioned above. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Upconverting
  5. http://i16.tinypic.com/2wns32a.jpg We bought a Kenmore last year. http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=64356
  6. Kingston 2GB SD card, $9.95 shipped: http://www.buy.com/prod/kingston-2gb-secure-digital-card-sd/q/loc/101/202743332.html I just bought this for $10.95 shipped and at the time that was the best price on the 'net. Now it's a $1 less!
  7. Read this thread -- along the same lines: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=98143 http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Holidays/thsmilie_oster02.gif
  8. Actually, if you want the previous generation's colors (brand-new), they are available in the clearance section for the same $49 w/free shipping and the same 1 year warranty: http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/wa/RSLID?nnmm=browse&mco=44BD9AA4&node=home/specialdeals/clearance (scroll down to the Special Deals section on the left and click on Clearance) The clearance colors are Blue, Green or Orange. And, not to totally throw a wrench in the works, but Apple has just released a 2GB Shuffle for $69.
  9. Just remember that Apple is selling brand-new (non-refurbished) 1GB Shuffles for $49 w/free shipping and the same one year warranty. For just $10 more, I think I'd rather have a new one.
  10. Just one more example of the "classic" advanced fee scam: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advance_fee_fraud http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/NO/bo40.gif
  11. Nope. The most common GSM carriers are AT&T (formerly Cingular) and T-Mobile. Here is a complete list (more or less) of all cell phone carriers and their voice technology networks: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_mobile_phone_companies (Sprint is CDMA, iDEN, by the way...)
  12. http://www.designverb.com/wp-content/images/2006/08/motophonef3.jpghttp://www.fayerwayer.com/up/2006/11/motorola-motofone-f3.jpg Simple, functional and fashionable, the Motofone has the features you can count on, plus the look you are seeking. Technology can be intimidating, but Motofone provides convenience in voice communication. Whether you call it the Motofone F3 or the Fone F3, this phone was designed for User friendliness. The F3 has two internal antennas for excellent reception even when partially shielded by a hand or other obstacles. It also allows a loud maximum volume for ringtones and loudspeaker for convenient use in crowded city environments. If you're seeking a basic Cell-Phone that's a little more than basic and is extremely easy to hold and use, the F3 from Motorola is exactly what you need. To help Bridge literacy gaps, the MOTOFONE offers a redesigned user Interface with innovative voice prompts in local languages to guide quickly and easily through menu navigation, messaging, and other functions. In addition, graphical icons visually demonstrate the menu features as well as Network status and Battery strength. For pre-paid customers, the MOTOFONE automatically reports the status of the pre-paid account after each call or message, allowing consumers to stay in control of use and expense. $35.99 plus shipping. http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.process?Product=4207289 Seems like a cheap basic phone for people who like cheap basic phones....
  13. Glad you like it -- and enter your zip code here: https://www.dunkindonuts.com/aboutus/store/Search.aspx
  14. I got two Caramel Swirl Lattes. http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Coffee/thbirgits_coffee.gif With tax it was $2.17 -- much cheaper than one large. http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Mil-Positive/wootsmiley.gif
  15. Indeed they are. Pumpkin Spice is offered from around the beginning of October till December. Gingerbread picks up where Pumpkin Spice left off and lasts till the New Year. (We have a Dunkin' Donuts about 1/8mile from our house -- my wife is addicted to those two flavors.) juanadeal's list is missing the Hazelnut Latte and Cinammon Swirl Latte. Also, this $.99 deal is good on iced Lattes too. My favorite is the Caramel Swirl Latte.
  16. That would be the "upconverting" that others have mentioned. It's like using a better tool to do the same job.
  17. PAGING SCOTT -- Oh, Scott -- http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=42218
  18. I don't think it's a bad idea per say, as long as you know what you are getting yourself into... Think of it this way, would you today buy a record player and a bunch of old records? If so, then go for it... The records are still music, even if there are new CDs coming out all the time.
  19. HD-DVD will be on it's way out, to join records, 8-tracks, those big 12" laserdiscs, and the betamax tapes in attics and basements across America. But, it's true that you can use it to play regular DVDs. Just be aware that Blu-Ray is the future and that you'll only be able to buy used HD-DVDs after a while...
  20. You could just have a Whopper, Large Fries and Large Strawberry Shake value meal. I think it's around 2,100 calories -- you'd get a whole day's calories in just one meal.
  21. "Temporarily Sold Out. More inventory may be available. Place your order today and be one of the first to receive this product when it arrives!" In other words, if you put your order in, they'll charge your card and ship it if they get in more stock. If not, they won't charge you. I recently had to do this with a USB Hub I bought from Buy.com. As soon as they got the next shipment, they sent the order out.
  22. Wendy's also has a Premium Fish Sandwich for a "limited time". I just saw the commercial but I am unsure as to the price. http://www.wendys.com/ads/ -- click on the water/ice/mountain scene. *** Yeah, the fish sandwich at McD's is almost snack sized. Around Lent, the McD's around here have a double-fish sandwich.
  23. You would be downloading an installer program, the program doesn't download and install at the same time. You should download the installer file, then burn that to a DVD after it's done downloading. You should purchase it as soon as your daughter would qualify for the special pricing.
