  1. great target trip today - went to one i don't normally go to - in Woodstock, GA and it's a Super Target. Found 4 of the blue fold up camping chairs marked down to $8.99 (normally #29.99) - they are the ones that fold up into a bag. Also snagged two of the Dora blow up beds at $6.98- the funny thing was that they had two different beds - one had Dora as a painter on the front and the other had some other pic of Dora - the painter Dora scanned item not found and they wanted me to pay full price - the other Dora scanned at the 6.98 - We got a great deal on a tent w/Amazon back during Christmas and we are trying to stock it now so that we'll have everything we need come spring-time. Found $40 Coleman sleeping bags for DH and I for $8.
  2. Went to a Super Target today - they had FOUR of those game tables marked down to the $29 - i'm debating grabbing one for my nephews for Christmas next year. But i did find those big 24 packet Quaker Instant oatmeal Lower Sugar packs for $3.84! I usually pay $3.08 for the regular sized (8pk) in the grocery store, so to get 24 pks for just a tad more, i bought all that they had. They also had 10 of the Snowman Cascade gel thingys, but refused to discount them, so i left them all there. Also snagged another Little Mermaid and a Nemo Color Wonder set for $3.74 - other things i saw but did not need - Coleman lantern ($39.99 down to $8) - big playground balls (Dora) down to $3 - small soccer balls (ages 8 and under) $2 - backpacks down to $6 - train table down to $40 - double pks of special k and other cereals for $2
  3. i really think my Target stinks - LOL!! At least in the area of getting deals on items that are marked "item not found" on the scanner. Today i found a Baby Einstein Christmas CD - the CD case was cracked and there was a clearance sticker on it - but the sticker said "orig pric 6.99 clearance price 6.99" - so i scanned it and it came up item not found. So i go to the register and they say "it is 6.99" -i said, it is a christmas item- shouldn't it be 90% off of the regular price? - they called the mgr. over and he said "she can have it for 50% off but she can't return it due to the crack in the case - this should have been - salvaged out" - So i told him never mind, they could keep it and salvage it out. I did find one of the Little Mermaid Color Wonder sets for 3.74 though - wish i could find a few more of them - if anyone finds them and wants to make a little bit of a profit on them, i'd be up for buying a few..
  4. items found in Georgia today.. Tons of the Dora blow-up beds w/sleeping bags - scanned as item not on file - had the girl key it in and it came up $13.98 - so we passed on those but they had 10 or so of them. I did find two Coleman 20 degree sleeping bags - originally $39.99 marked down to $8.74 so i snagged two of those (we got the great deal on a tent at Amazon this past Christmas and are slowly collecting other camping items so it was a great find) Found some plus-sized cardigan sweaters for $4.98 (brown, black or taupe) - i never knew this but when they clearance out the womens clothing they just put them on any rack in the back - so these weren't even in the plus-sized section, they were up near the juniors department near the bathing suits - LOL! They also had a lot of front-door greeter mats between 50% and 75% off ($4 - $6 each) no such luck on the color wonder stuff though - everything checked out at the reg. price of $7.99 (could the poster who found these post again and let me know exactly what they are and look like??)
  5. even though the BOGO is off, there are still great deals! Most items were at least 50% off with an additional 40% off - plus tons of other sales. For my daughter i bought 3 pairs of those leggings that go under skirts w/lace at the bottom - they were $3 each. a sweater for $4 and another shirt for $2 - i also bought her a pair of keds (the classic kind but a spring green color) for $4.99 and i picked up a cute Tommy Hilfiger purse for $6 (originally $59)
  6. I found a Hip Sips by Rubbermaid for my daughter's lunchbox - it was 2.48 (orig 9.99) - it is a water bottle with a cool insulated wrap and they are in a clear box - some of them had a cute denim jean wrap and some others had a pink suede wrap. INSIDE this bottle there are things for the kids to decorate the bottle wrap with AND there is one of the little sharpies (the kind you would put on your key ring - these things are like $2 by themselves in the school supply aisle). Also they FINALLY marked down their blanket footed sleepers for big girls and i got some for 3.48 (i think we got pink penquins and some frogs) -
  7. Went to Target today in Georgia - still at 30% off on the toys
  8. Just got back from my Target (Cartersville, GA) - we have NO cascade gel tabs - bummer! But i did make out pretty good - and had a cashier issue that i'll post about at the bottom (might need some help from you great Target shoppers!) Bought the Superman inflate a chest thingy (3.77 with $5 peelie exp 12/31 so YMMV) Got my free Electrasol 2 in 1 tabs (free coupon in Sunday's paper - Target has the extra value pk for $4.79 with 18 extra tabs for the same price - so if you get the electrasol free coupon in your paper tomorrow, i'd use it at Target to get the extra 18 tabs!) Got some of these cute little grow animals (frog and lizard - you put them in water and they grow to 3x their size - these are big too - over 2 ft long once grown) for $.48 each Hershey's Kissables (.42 w/$.75 coupon) York Peppermint Patties Holiday (.69) Glade Pumpkin Pie Candles (.23 - bought 3 - would have bought more but i bought a ton the other day) So my grand total after my $5 Superman coupon, my $4.79 coupon for the electrasol, and my $.75 coupon for the Hershey's kissables was $1.72!! WOOHOO! Now my cashier issue - she did not want to take the $.75 coupon because the item was only $.42 - i told her that she should at least take off the $.42 as it's not my fault the item is on sale - and that the coupon doesn't say "Only regularly priced items" - called mgr. over and they did ok it after arguing with me a bit. Then came the $5 Superman coupon - well once again, the item was less than the coupon and they argued about that, then they argued about the expiration date - i said "well, you are still selling the item and it still has the coupon on it, i do believe you should honor it" and they finally did. So what is the REAL policy on coupons and such at Target - is it really a YMMV thing?
  9. i'm really wanting one of those slim pre-lit trees - but it doesn't say if i have to put each individual branch into the center pole - or if it's made like the umbrella type one i have now that has three parts and already have all the branches on each part - so that you just put the three main parts together and then fluff. I don't want the kind where each branch has to be put into the correct hole on the trunk - please advise..
  10. Toys at my Target in Georgia still seem to be rather high - i checked that Weebles thing today and it was $20+ - the Little Pony castle was $27 - that easel thing was $50, etc.. But i have a question - there are some zippered blanket sleepers in the children's section that are Hello Kitty and have candy canes and a gingerbread house on them - they are NOT 75% off - in fact, they are only 30% off (there are some others with gingerbread on them that are still full price too) - will those go down??
  11. in my store, the glade candles and cleaners and air freshners were in with the regular candle/cleaners and WERE NOT marked - had to scan them to show the price.
  12. Went to our Target today - Cartersville GA - it was 75% off and i scored big time. People must have not shopped hardly at all for the 50% off. I didn't need Christmas stuff, so i was snagging the other things we could use. Found a pink Leapster for $35 (my 4 yr old NEEDs this - LOL!) - other things that were NOT marked were the Glade candles (french vanilla, apple cinnamon, pumpkin pie) they were $.59 each! Also there was an endcap of this stuff called "Method" brand in the cleaning/candle aisle - they had cranberry, peppermint, and spiced pear all-purpose cleaner for $.62 - also the same scents dish soap for $.62 - and there were big cans of Fabreze room freshner (sugar cookie and vanilla i think) for $.74! I snagged a bunch of those! i picked up one of the Christmas boxed b/w tv's w/lantern combo for $7 and a blue set of twin flannel sheets for $5 other things i saw but did not get.. divided children's plates and bowls (red w/red/green stripes) $.49 - bowls $.74 Doodle Monster - $7.44 Only Hearts Club dolls $7 (regularly $16) Most leap frog games (card game, dominos, connect 4 type) - $3 Gift wrap cutter thing from Scotch - $1.49
  13. i just snagged two sets of these last nite - along with the snowflake flannel twin duvet covers for $8.99 - to go with my 2 twin down comforters from Overstock at $17 each! Now i also bought a king down comforter for the $17 price and wish Amazon had the king flannel duvets and sheet sets - great deal!
  14. you have to go to the fisher price online store - but i just went there and it said available 2/15...
  15. looking for either a blanket or those fleecy sacks that zip up (like a mix between a sleeping bag and a pair of those footed fleecy pjs) w/the warming feature... need twins and king - need a price better than the $80 i'm seeing out there
  16. there are a couple other real toddler beds on amazon.com - there is even a strawberry shortcake one for $30 that has great reviews AND free shipping - but there is no pic.. do a search for toddler bed on amazon..
  17. how old is your DD that has climbed out of the crib now? the recommended age is 6-8 years according to the details on this bed on Amazon - could be because a younger child might be able to get their face stuck or obstruct their breathing, etc.. looks better for like an overnite stay at grams, IMO. But it is cute..
  18. then you must have hit a sale - all the stores around here are the same prices as shoebuy.com and they NEVER seem to go on sale around here :) so this was a GREAT deal for me ! plus i'm not paying gas money to go out and find them - LOL! I just got notice while typing that both of mine have shipped TODAY! Talk about fast service :)
  19. use code 2HOLIDAY06 to get $10 off one pair (no price limit stated) or $20 off of two pairs - i just ordered 2 pair of Crocs for my girls (oh, and there is NO tax and NO shipping charges!) for $35.90! Also, if you register on their site and are a new customer, they take off another 10% on your first order!! (that's how mine ended up at 35.90 - otherwise it would have been 39.90 i think - still a GREAT price!)
