Worth a shot. Can everyone be civil and please not try to by 10 of them and ruin this for everyone else.

I had a bad experience. I ordered a belle snow globe that my wife had been drooling over on December 8. I waited and waited, nothing. I sent emails after a week, finally December 19 they replied and said they didn't have any in stock. I wrote back and asked why they never notified me and how it screwed up plans because there was no time to order anything else in time for Christmas. I never got a reply...

I had the same problem with Disneyshopping.com. They gave me the run around for 2 weeks. When they finally wrote me back they told me (yesterday) they were now out of stock, thanks alot. It was something for my wife and now it's too late to get anything like what I orignally ordered.

The After Christmas sales are always better than the before Christmas Clearances because the stores hold back to make as much profit as they can before unloading remaining inventory... Example: the starting prices are artifically high then marked down to make it appear as if your saving more. This calculation works best 50% off is actually 25% and 75% off is actually 50% off. Shopping Veterans know what things went for in previous years and I have to tell you things are not priced 50% off.

Homedepot and Lowes have 75% off all of their Christmas stuff. It's little known so I always cash in...

There are still deals to be had, just not as good as a week ago. Wait til after Christmas for the real deals...

The DVD player is a reciever as well. You will only get HD sound from the DVD's and not external inputs like the TV. The HDMI just carries a optical line for digital sound and video for picture. It doesn't need to be inputted in to a DVD player, an optical input would be all you need to get HD sound from your TV. I don't believe this system has an optical input, therefore you will only get stereo sound from your TV and HD sound from DVD's.

Costco also offers a warranty that lets you return it up to 3 years from the original purchase with a full refund if your not satisfied. It is up to the manager, but most will give you your money back as long as the tv doesn't have physical damage. This is a little known secret ask customer service for more details.
