My wife and I started discussing what kind of things we wanted to watch for on BF around labor day.

by my figuring (and hopes), shouldn't we be seeing a lot more BF ads in the next week? I would really like to get my shopping ideas in order soon.

I alway try to find a 24 hr Walmart so I don't wait in line.

last year I had to drive about 20 miles for WM and then another 15 to more stores... this year I move into a large city so I don't have far to go to get what I want (Unless I decide to drive to Fry's , which is 40 miles away)

Sleep and lots of it... I start at 10pm on Turkey Day and don't finish until 9 to 10 am on BF

What time does Big Lots Usually Open on BF. I may stop in there this year if I see anything I want in their ad.

My wife works at a Sears. she just told me that her store got the ads in today. She hasn't seen it yet, but the boxes are there. She can't get one to scan. I figure we should see an ad scan here real soon.

My favorite memory last year was walking in to my WM at 11:30 pm Thanksgiving and wandering checking around. I talked briefly to a stocker there. I told him I was there for BF. He told me they sale doesn't start until 5:00am and I told him "I know".... He just looked at me oddly and walked away. The look alone was Priceless, kind of the "You are nuts" look. If I decide to do the WM thing again this year I hope I get the same look.

Use it in a science class in a microwave demonstration (My Great Uncle to me about how he first saw a microwave oven used when he was a boy, with an ear of popcorn.)

How likely is it that we will get Fry's black Friday Ad this year. I live about 40 miles away from one and would love to know what they have. Last year I kept waiting for the Ad to be posted somewhere but never saw it.

Wal Mart is the #1 company in the world for a reason. They certainly treat their employees with dignity and they hire no more illegals than any corporation out there. You slander of Wal-Mart is certainly grounds for a potential lawsuit. I'd watch what I say about them because they will sue.
Your intelligence is really impressive there. You do realize that slander is spoken statements. It is libel when it is written statements. For Walmart to sue for libel that they would first have to prove that the statement is false. Walmart doesn't want to try to prove that they treat the employees fairly because it might bring to light more possible lawsuits of them treating employees poorly. For the same reason, Walmart doesn't want more people looking into their employment of illegal immigrants.
Honestly, I do not fear comments I make about Walmart. I prefer to use my freedom of speech.

Hmm... I spend most of my holiday shopping Money on BF. Many times this can be quite a lump sum. This year I am planning a budget over a grand. Guess Walmart doen't really want it.

If Walmart will not post their add, then hit the other stores first on BF and then go to Walmart and PM!!
If they don't want us buying their own door busters they will need to honor the prices from other store adds that are by then out of stock!!! If they won't give us the deals, we'll make our own!
I am already thinking in that direction.. Heck Last year I did more price matching then I did buying any of their doorbusters

I just figure since the hard drive looked the same and unless you read specifically that it say II on the Best Buy Ad... you don't see any difference

I am wondering if I will be able to get away with a PM... Best Buy has the Western Digital Passport II 60 GB External Hard Drive on sale for $49.99 (no rebate) ... I check my local Walmart and they have the Passport I in stock but not the passport II... It is the same brand and same size of Hard Drive... It just Passport II and Passport I difference... do you think I would be able to get away with a PM at Walmart... What do you think?

Go a couple of days before and buy the on sale things you need, save your receipt. Take your receipt to them the morning of BF and they will refund difference. And if they don't tell them you want a refund on your items and go buy them at sale price.
That works on regular things, but not the doorbusters... usually they only put those at on Friday night and they have a different UPC.

I talked to an assistant manager yesterday at Big Lots. She told me they haven't even seen the Ad yet. She was getting worried about it. That is probably why it has been leaked yet.

I would really enjoy having a Logitech io2 Digital Pen Digital Writing System from Geeks.com this year. I have been a good boy this year. I have taken a new job where I help keep computers running for young boys and girls. I make sure the computers are clean and protected. I also keep kids from going to websites where they can be naughty. I also help teachers learn more about computers, so they can better teach the kids with new technology, like the kind you get from Geeks.com. I am also putting my wife through college, so she can be a teacher. I keep her laptop running so she can study and get good grades.
Finally, I am helping my best friend start up a business, so he can be independent and finally move out of his parents house. So you see, I have been a good boy. That is why I deserve the Logitech io2 Digital Pen Digital Writing System from Geeks.com so I can keep track of my work at my school.
