  1. Give it about 3 more weeks for the first ads to start appearing.
  2. Our Dell Coupon Page: http://dell.gottadeal.com Dell has recently lowered their regular prices of Inspirons and Dimension systems, and therefore they have also lowered the discounts for the coupons we have. Their fiscal quarter ends in a few weeks, so if you wait a little longer, we'll find out how much they are willing to discount. The old 40% off and $750 off coupons might be a thing of the past.
  3. If you're referring to buying the items ahead of time, it probably depends on the store. I wouldn't think they'd allow the employees to get the really limited times as it wouldn't be good for the doors to open and for nothing to be left.
  4. I expect all of you who work retail to do whatever it takes to get us the BF ads as soon as possible We'll make it worth your time :)
  5. Yep. I expect a lot of GBASP deals. Don't know about PS2 - there will probably be some free items with purchase but I don't know if the price will be lower than MSRP.
  6. It's something small, but it might be useful. There is now a "store locator" menu in the left column of the BF site. Just pick a store and it will take you to the page on that store's site where you can find the store nearest you. Also there is a link to the store's locator page on the actual page of sale items for each store. So now if you see something on sale for BF but have no idea where the closest store is to you, it's easy to find out :)
  7. Fixed. Our coupon section is going to get a big expansion soon :)
  8. The good thing is most stores will have pretty big sales every week from now through Christmas, so even if you wait and it's not cheaper on BF, chances are you'll be able to get it during that month between BF and Christmas, especially if BF sales are low for certain retailers.
  9. WalMart just sent us a link to their new ToyLand section of their site with the hot toys for this year. So parents (or anyone else), what do you think your kids will be asking for? Is there any one really hot toy this year that will be in demand and could sell out? Also, if you want a good site for getting cheap toys on Amazon/ToysRUs.com, check out Toys2005.com which is another one of our sites.
  10. LOL. We have a F&F about 3 minutes from here. I probably should go there when they open the Toyland and hand out flyers for the site :)
  11. Black Friday traditionally has the best deals, but stores have pretty good ads each week from BF until Christmas. Last year once BF was over we made this forum a general "Holiday Shopping" board as there were still many great deals to be found during the month after BF.

It's on your profile page: http://forums.gottadeal.com/member.php?u=6348 They only count if you've been using your referral link (which you can see in your User CP).
  13. plus another 30% off if you use your kolhs charge: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=14180&highlight=kohls
  14. You might be thinking of the "Points for Charity" drawing in which one of the 3 prize choices is the $75.00 Amazon GC
  15. Their coupons usually say they cant be used for order comprised solely of media items, but I've used them before. Anyone know if it can be applied? Coupon: http://www.gottadeal.com/Coupon/977
  16. This was very popular during BF last year, and we have it back again. If you go to this thread in the Online Deals board: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=14285 You can request a deal on any item available at Overstock.com. Adam, our representative from Overstock.com, will try his best to get you a great discount off the regular site price - exclusively for you! Many of our visitors used this last year to get an early start on their holiday gifts, so I wanted to let everyone here know about it in case you haven't checked out the other boards yet.
  17. Just a friendly reminder that if you want to be e-mailed whenever new ads come out, you can just enter your e-mail address on the main Black Friday home page: http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/index.php#notify You'll be immediately added to the list. Your e-mail address will not be used for any other non-Black Friday purpose - trust us :) Note that the forum membership and the alert system are not the same thing, so even if you have an account on the forum, you'll have to register for the alerts as well should you wish to receive them. And if you don't have a forum membership (what are you waiting for? ), you can still sign up to get e-mail alerts. And if you don't remember if you signed up this year or last, don't worry - enter your e-mail address anyway and if it is a duplicate it'll just be thrown out - you wont get 2 e-mails every time a message is sent out. We'll also have some exclusive surprises for mailing list subscribers as well :)
  18. I'll be adding links very soon to the lists.
  19. Yes, the shopping list works very similar this year except it actually saves your list, so when each ad comes out you can select the items from that store and it'll be saved. You can try it out now on the site using last year's items so you know how it works - just click the "MY SHOPPING LIST" link at the top of the page. The shopping list requires a forum account (so we can save your list with your username), so those of you lurking will have to register for the forum to use it this year.
  20. Correct. We'll try to let you know about online deals that beat the BF deals, and we'll also have a page a day or two before BF that lists all BF deals that you can order from the stores' web sites at the BF prices.
  21. There is a $5 off $50 coupon for books (new customers only): http://www.gottadeal.com/Coupon/718
