Is this an online sale or in-store? I think they had a special online-only sale on Thanksgiving day last year.
-
based on last year, if you want a kitchenaid mixer, wait for amazon to have one in one of their sales. last year they had some amazing deals on the mixers - the better artisan model for the same price as sears has the "classic" model for this year, with no shipping and no tax and no waiting in line.
-
Agreed. A low end Canon model is usually a much better value than even a mid-range model from one of the other brands that mrn8 mentioned.
-
I thought so too, the only issue will be what fye's regular prices are on those. If they normally charge $59.99 for a typical box set that sells for $30 elsewhere, the deal is not that great.

The winner for this week is steph3306. Congrats :) Due to unforseen circumstances, we are temporarily postponing the weekly contests until I hear back from D&T regarding prize fulfillment and the possibility of offering better prizes for the next month. Look for another announcement soon.

In that case, his e-mail is [email protected] (although if you e-mail him, you might want to do it from a throw-away account as he'd probably use your e-mail address for spam, lol) His response to my "not interested" e-mail: LOL. Exclusive relationship because he probably couldn't get any takers from the other BF and deal sites Oh, and I quickly browsed through the actual document - completely full of common sense stuff that everyone here has known about for years - bring a buddy, dress in layers, price match where possible, etc... Just look at our "BF Tips for Beginners" thread and you'll find everything he says and much more.

gotta love people trying to take advantage of the success of this site and of our great members. just got this e-mail: so he writes an e-book, probably with all the tips and strategies taken from your posts here on the forums, and then wants to be "generous" and give it to you for free if you give him your e-mail address to do what he wishes with. just thought we all could make fun of him a little in this thread

Consoles are rarely on sale below retail prices. Usually the best you can hope for is a free game or some kind of accessory free with purchase. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the arcade version comes with a 256MB memory unit as well as a bunch of free Xbox live arcade games. When you factor in tax, you might be better off just ordering it online from somewhere like Buy.com - use a $10 off coupon if you are a new customer and get it with free shipping and no tax.

I received the file, but as stated, these are all last year's ads. Please see here for previous years' ads before submitting them to verify what you have is legit: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=82310 Closing thread.

Could very well be possible. The only "catch" could be that I'm guessing each OD would not get very many units per store since they are not really an electronics-type store, and so you'd be taking a chance waiting in line when OD might not have any other killer deals, so it could really be an all-or-nothing kind of situation and it would not leave you time to get to another store once you realize they are sold out. With another store like BB, even if the TV is sold out, there would likely be many other hot deals to get as well. OD's ad has been pretty awful the last 2 years.

That's what I'm guessing.

Some reviews: http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/canon/powershot_sd1000-review/index.shtml http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/SD1000/SD1000A.HTM http://www.digitalcamerareview.com/default.asp?newsID=3079&review=canon+powershot+sd1000 If you don't need the case or SD card, you can get the camera a few bucks cheaper elsewhere: http://gottadeal.pricegrabber.com/search_getprod.php/masterid=33724726/search=sd1000/sort_type=bottomline But as a bundle, this looks like one of the better deals.
