  1. You might have to re-select the mobile theme from the menu at the bottom left of every page. When the upgrade happened, the ID# of the mobile style changed, which is why it might have switched back to the full theme on your BB. And we've got something even better than the mobile site coming soon for BB, iPhone and Android users...
  2. I haven't seen that issue. There may be an issue with the cookies for your web browser.
  3. Tell me this: will it let you paste if you use Ctrl-V instead of right clicking and then selecting "paste"? Just trying to see if the issue is with pasting or the right-click action. Update: I was finally able to get it to happen here, and it also happens on the official vB site, which tells me it's yet another bug and not something GD-specific. Using Ctrl-V does work though, so I'd suggest doing it that way until they get around to fixing the problem.
  4. Can you give me a specific retailer? Maybe the text you are trying to paste has some weird formatting that the search box doesn't like. Can you copy and paste regular text (such as from this post) in the box? This one is strange because I can't get it to happen and unlike most of the other bugs posted in this thread, I can't find anyone else that has reported it on the official vB support boards.
  5. added breadcrumb to bottom of threads.
  6. Searching for platform bed brings up threads that have platform OR bed in them - for example, the video game threads listed something like "Platform: Xbox 360" which is why those showed up. Using Advanced Search, you could search by title only to eliminate a lot of the other results. I'm also going to experiement with using Google Site Search on here which uses Google's technology to (hopefully) provide much better search results. Give me a week or two to get that worked out.
  7. Try again and let me know if there are problems still.
  8. I made the font as dark as it can be. As for the post thing not appearing, I'm seeing that as well. I'll check into it. It only happens in IE with me, not in Firefox or Chrome. Overall things seem to work better and faster on the new version with FF or Chrome. That's likely more the fault of Microsoft for their IE implementation than it is our fault or the fault of the vBulletin designers, but I can't ask people to use a different browser for just one site. I'm looking into things though.
  9. Yeah I am working on getting a bottom breadcrumb. I had to custom-code it last time, and that code doesn't work anymore, so it's work in progress.
  10. What version of Firefox are you using and what operating system? I can't get that error to happen in any browser I have and can't find anything about any other board having the problem.
  11. I changed it back to the old neon green.
  12. Like I said, we are definitely open to making changes, but you have to be specific about what and where the issue is. We did the upgrade during this slow time of year so we have plenty of time to get things right.
  13. This is a known bug and the developers are aware of it. However, if you are in a forum and go to the "forum tools" menu and then "mark this forum read", even though it won't appear that you are clicking on it, it should indeed mark that forum as read.
  14. The font looks the same to me. What color is lighter? The background for posts is white which it was on the old board as well.
  15. At the top where it says "Notifications", it will turn orange when you have something. I can change that to the old green which will make it stand out more.
  16. The home page is still at www.gottadeal.com. That hasn't changed.
  17. It would be labeled as Compatibility View somewhere in the menus. What version of Internet Explorer are you using?
  18. I can't reproduce this. I copied something, went to that forum in Firefox, and was able to paste it in the search. I tried for searching the OHD forum as well as searching an individual thread. I'll see if I can find anything out about it on the vBulletin site, but I'm guessing it's something with your particular setup. Do you have the latest version of Firefox? Any toolbars/add-ons installed?
  19. Try doing this: 1. While in Internet Explorer, click on the Tools menu, then click on Compatibility View Settings. 2. Uncheck Display all Websites in Compatibility View, then click the Close button. Apparently this is a known bug that should be fixed in the next update (which should be coming out any day now).
  20. I'm not sure what you are referring to. Can you elaborate?
  21. I feel the same way, but the benefits outweigh the "inconvenience" of the change. We'd been using the old version for 6 years, which meant that the software was 6+ years old. Expect many other forums which use vBulletin to upgrade soon if they haven't already. We're just one of the first to make the leap. If it makes anyone feel better, we've been using the test site for a couple weeks now and this version already feels "normal" to me now, so just give it some time and once the initial shock wears off, it should feel more like GD.
  22. What seems harder to read? We're definitely open to making changes as needed.
  23. Can you be more specific about the search error? I tried pasting a search term into both the global search (in the upper right of every page) and in the "Search Forum" menu in the online hot deals forum and had no problems. Which web browser are you using?
  24. There have always been Google ads on here if you weren't logged in, at least for the last few years. If you've always been logged in, you probably just never saw them until now.
