If size and price are not much of a deal breaker, Best Buy has a 50 inch TCL for $179. Or something smaller and closer to what you’re asking for is a 43 inch Insignia for $139 (these are on sale now). Both TVs are 4K, but don’t let that stop you (a little future proof doesn’t hurt) as you can stream 4K content thru some services or YouTube. If the TV is for a child’s room then ignore what I said, lol.

I just checked The Exchange and they HAD (Sold Out) the current iPad Air for $299. Ouch. That is a heck of deal (wasn’t expecting that). Not sure if you can see it in the link. https://www.shopmyexchange.com/apple-ipad-air-109-in-64gb-with-wifi-latest-model--3167739/3167739 Best Buy has the 9th gen iPad for $199 if saving money is a need. The 10th gen is $299 (The Exchange has this for $229 as an example).

A good chance your iPad will last a long time and might not fill up the storage. The problem I see is that over time, the OS will no longer receive updates. This can affect apps as well. They supported the iPad mini 2 for a long time (more than any other IIRC, but then the apps stopped working sometime late. Never used my storage up, but they got me with the updates. Truth be told, this is pretty much the same thing for all tablets and phones no matter what the brand, lol. I find the Air to be a nice go between for storage, speed, and price. I am a little bias in this recommendation because I bought mine during BF thru The Exchange (Military) and they had great deals on them (better than Costco and no tax), but not everyone can get the deal.

I do too. Hoping for some Star Wars deals.

What if we were to post twelve times NOW? Would that count for the entire year? Asking for a friend.

Usually, movies every year. 4K, Blu-ray and sometimes DVDs (TV shows that you can't get on Blu-ray). I've already started and got some good deals. Best Buy put out some early deals on them a week ago and was able to score before they were removed (rumor is they weren't supposed to be posted yet). The Six Million Dollar Man just dropped on Amazon, so now I'm debating, lol.

Thanks! I use Scan & go so I will definitely check this out next time I go.

I hope you all saying DVDs are generalizing and include blu-rays and 4K UHDs. I know DVDs can be cheap, but so can the others (and they usually come with a DVD). I only buy DVDs for old TV shows that you can’t get in other formats, though that is changing as more older shows are coming out on blu-ray (Andy Griffith, I Dream of Jeanie, Wonder Woman, and The Incredible Hulk are some recent additions to blu-ray and almost the same price as the DVDs. It’s crazy not to buy the blu-ray versions). Yes, you can buy that $4 DVD, but sometimes for $1 you can get the blu-ray. Heck, I’ve gotten 4Ks cheaper than DVDs and Blu-rays. It’s not common but it happens (especially around BF). I picked up Frozen on 4K UHD for $4 at Best Buy. It is now $35. It was a brief sale and I stocked up on all kinds of movies (some were more, but got some deals. The reason I rant is because most people now have HD or even 4K TVs. Why watch sub-standard movies on a high resolution TV? Blu-ray players are cheap and/or most people have an Xbox/PS in their homes if they have kids that can play these (unless you have the digital game consoles). I like physical media (except the space it consumes) vice digital streaming. You own the disc (which can include digital copies) and it can’t change. Digital can be removed from your account (you don’t technically own it) and/or replaced with an edited copy (Lilo and Stitch is an example of being altered). Physical disc have better picture quality overall than streaming (mostly). This is just my opinion and I’m not condemning anyone, just giving out information about a hobby I enjoy (probably more than most as have close to 2,800 disc overall, lol). I will say this, BF is the best time to stock up on your favorites because the prices don’t get much better (unless it’s a pricing error, lol). Hit me up if you have questions about upcoming BF sales on movies or if you are trying to find something at a good price. I follow this stuff way too much. I need help, lol.

Is there a guessing thread as to when the first ad will drop?

Besides the pre-Black Friday ads, I’m shocked we haven’t seen more. -
The suspense is killing me. I’m glad to see that stores are returning to the old ways of being closed on Thanksgiving (we’ll see how long it last).

I don’t know if being an Elite member at Best Buy is worth it anymore. I didn’t realize they started their ‘Early Access’ sale on Saturday vice Monday which has been that way for years. Didn’t really miss much though as the ‘EA’ was limited to select items (and none I was really in the market to buy. Did most of my shopping online this year. Walmart was terrible. Advertised 4K movies for $7.96 and I think only one or two ever reflected that online. Bought a few movies but grabbed them in case I couldn’t find them lower. Went out to Walmart Thanksgiving night (usually don’t but it was 8:30 and wanted to see what was going on) Bought two 4K movies and that was it (one was to cancel an online order that was $3 more: see above). They barely had any of the 4K movies advertised and again, not all prices were correct as advertised. My big score: LEGO Millennium Falcon Ultimate Collection Series for $480. Snagged Amazon’s insane sale of 40% off. Used $125 in gift cards and Bing Rewards and paid $385 with tax. I didn’t get this on the first try, I was ready when it went live and it sold out instantly. I went straight to the ‘waitlist’. About 1 1/2 hours later my screen changed to ‘Add to cart’. Took about 10 seconds to checkout, lol. 4K movies John Wick 3 X-men: Dark Phoenix Rambo (2009) Hobbs & Shaw Cold Pursuit Hunter Killer The Expendables collection Alita Godzilla Glass Star Trek 1 and 2 (Chris Pine versions) Mortal Engines Other things: Motherboards, processors, RAM, graphic card for new PC builds for my son and I. Air fryer Kindle Oasis (fully loaded WiFi/3G)previous model close out)) original $349 for $149. Upgrade and save ended up paying $74. More LEGO (adult collector btw) Gingerbread House, Saturn V rocket, Disney Train and Station and some smaller sets. Other things, but my post is insanely long, so I’ll stop. Good deals overall. That’s why I always look on GottaDEAL. I didn’t post much this year, but I was here ‘lurking’ as I do all year.

I've bought 6 4K movies so far. Some prices don't seem to be as advertised, but I'll try to pick them up in store tomorrow and advertised price.
-
I've seen the 55" OLED is going to be on sale just under $1000 (I think the NEX ad (military)), but if they have it, be on the look out for others stores to have it at a similar price.

For those thinking about movies, if you have a 4K tv, you should really be buying 4K movies or at least blu-rays. The only reason to buy DVDs is if it’s not available on the other formats (such as TV shows). IMO you are missing out on what your TV has to offer. For Black Friday this year, Target and Best Buy will be offering the Sony 4K (X700) player for $129.99. If you own a 4K TV, you really need one of these (IMO ).
