Brad
Great for the cheaper models if you don't want to spend the $750 for the other deal. You can get a $1000 machine for $600 and there are no restrictions with the configurations.

Brad
Just a reminder that this one expires tomorrow at 5:59am CT. With Dell's fiscal quarter ending, it could very well be 3 months before we get another one like this that is good on pretty much any configuration. For those of you like BigNate who want an extremely loaded system, this is the coupon to use - you'll save much more than the $750 off coupons that are usually considered the hottest. RossMAN
Brad is right, the next "big" Dell coupons probably will not be released for another 3 months the end of their next quarter. Now is the time to buy if you have a college bound child. If you need any advice or help, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help you save money :)

RossMAN
Steven, Looks good but two questions 1) Have you considered buying the minimal 256MB RAM and buying 1GB RAM cheaper elsewhere like NewEgg.com or Crucial.com? 2) The Intel 2200 wireless should be sufficient unless you have an 802.11a network you plan on connecting to. Nice job on the 2nd year warranty and additional 8 cell battery. Around your home/office you could use the slimmer 4 cell and use the 8 cell for travel trips

I think it was 180 for the 512 sticks. 2) I'll change to the other one. I just can't decide between this and the latitude, but I've heard from many people, that they love this machine. Plus I get 800+ discount which is better than the 750 one. -Steven

RossMAN
Steven, That is a tough choice choosing between the 700m and X1. I would recommend reading this it offers some nice comparisons of the 700m vs X1. IIRC the X1 doesn't offer a 8 cell battery, although I could be wrong. If you're willing to pay the price premium the X1 might be worth it. But bang for your buck, the 700m is an awesome deal.
RossMAN
Well if it were me I would seriously consider the Latitude X1 as the keyboard is a little more generous http://www.notebookforums.com/showthread.php?t=92855 Also Dell Small Business tends to offer better (usually native English speaking) tech support which is a plus.
